In this 21st century, marketing has become the important tool in any business strategy. Today I am going to tell you one of the new marketing concepts that have been practised by various companies over the world: we call it value co-creation or consumer generated value. I believe most of the local or small business owners may not heard of this at all, I will try to make my explanation simple. Before I start, let me tell you a story of my own experience.
During my birthday last year, I received a birthday cake from my friend that full with my favourite cartoon character Winnie, The Pooh miniatures. It is designed in a way that you would not be able to find it in any stores out there. Out of curiosity, I browsed through their facebook page and found out the owner has used a very interesting slogan: You dream it, we bake it.
Unlike the traditional way of select and pay in most of the bakery shops, in this case where rather than rely on the creativity of bakery shop, my friend is able to share his idea, experience and expectation on how he wants the cake to be looked like. In other words, he has participated in a new product development and co-created value with the shop owner. The whole process is less about transaction and more about interaction.
A simple way of understanding it is value co-creation is the ability of the company and consumer to create additional value for each other. It is not about what you can provide to your customer but is about what your customer wants or wishes. Consumers are no longer satisfied in making ‘yes’ or ‘no’ about what companies offer to them as products or services. They want more – the freedom of choice to interact with companies through range of experiences.
How value co-creation can be done and its

We will discuss about its main features, as well as compare the overall cost to make our iPad 2 with the Kindle, to see whether it can be our direct competitor or not. Firstly, let’s take a brief look about Amazon and its main weapon – the Kindle Fire. Amazon is an international electronic commercial organization, with the headquarters located in Washington, United states. Together with Alibaba, Wal-mart and eBay, the company is considered to be one of the largest online retailers in the US. At first, Amazon is purely an online bookstore. The Kindle Fire is a mini portable computer, also known as a tablet, which is Amazon’s attempt to enter the promising tablet market. Initially, it was just a device that allow people to read online books and that’s it. When it was firstly announced at the end of 2011, it has been considered by many reviewers to be the real competitor of the iPad 2. It was the second best selling tablet at that time, right after the Apple’s iPad 2. Now, we compare the Kindle Fire with the iPad 2, based on the functionality aspect. <Nhìn bảng so sánh 3 tablet> We can see that in general, the iPad 2 has more functionalities than the Kindle Fire. ...THE SIMPLE MATHEMATICS OF MICRO-ECONOMICS Production theory. Begin with a production function: Q = 21a + 9a2 - a3, showing output, Q, as a function of the variable input, labor, a. Marginal product of labor is a) the addition to total product resulting from the use of one more unit of a. b) the slope of the total product curve, and c) the first derivative of a total product, TP, function, thus, dQ/da = MPa = 21 + 18a - 3a2* _______________________ *You will remember about first derivatives that: to get the derivative of a constant, dQ/da = 0. For example, in the expression Q = 21 + 7a - a2 + 3a3, the number 21 is considered a constant, for which dQ/da = 0. To get the derivative of a variable “a” preceded by a coefficient m, or ma, dQ/da = m. For example, in the expression Q = 21 + 7a - a2 + 3a3, the term 7a consists of the coefficient 7 and the variable a, for which dQ/da = 7. To get the derivative of a variable with an exponent, an, dQ/da = nan-1. For example, in the expression Q = 21 + 7a - a2 + 3a3, the term a2 consists of the variable a and the exponent 2, for which dQ/da = 2a. (By the formula, this would read 2a1, but any number or variable taken to the first power, I.e., having an exponent of 1, is not changed. So we need not write the 1.) To get the derivative of a variable with both coefficient m and exponent n, such as ma n, we have dQ/da = n(m)an-1. For example, in the expression Q = 21 + 7a - a2 + 3a3, 3 the term 3a consists of the variable a with the coefficient 3...

...Cargo Winch A winch is a mechanical device that is used to pull in (wind up) or let out (wind out) or otherwise adjust the "tension" of a rope or wire rope (also called "cable" or "wire cable"). In its simplest form it consists of a spool and attached hand crank. In larger forms, winches stand at the heart of machines as diverse as tow trucks, steam shovels and elevators Capstan or Drum - A capstan is a vertical-axled rotating machine developed for use on sailing ships to apply force to ropes, cables, and hawsers. The principle is similar to that of the windlass, which has a horizontal axle. Bearing Bracket - The Bearing bracket on a bicycle connects the crankset (chainset) to the bicycle and allows the crankset to rotate freely. It is not a bracket as such. It contains a spindle that the crankset attaches to, and the bearings that allow the spindle and cranks to rotate. Chocks - Wheel chocks (or chocks) are wedges of sturdy material placed closely against a vehicle's wheels to prevent accidental movement. Chocks are placed for safety in addition to setting the brakes. Capstan Shaft - A drive shaft, driveshaft, driving shaft, propeller shaft (prop shaft), or Cardan shaft is a mechanical component for transmittingtorque and rotation, usually used to connect other components of a drive train that cannot be connected directly because of distance or the need to allow for relative movement between them. Bearing Cap - A bearing cap can be described as a number of things, but...
