Abstract
This project was about how different amounts of salt affect how much water will rise. This paper describes how different amounts of salt affect the increase or decrease of the water level. In addition, the project demonstrated the effects of the different amounts of salt on the equivalent amounts of water in the cup. The project’s experiment involved using four 0.6 pound weights (three trials), four measuring cups, a bag of salt, and a gallon of water. After three trials, the cup with the least amount of salt increased the water level. The project hypothesis is if the amount of salt decreases, then the water level will increase. In conclusion, the project demonstrated that the less salt that is added, the more the water level will increase.
Information for this project was secured from various sources, including books, and Internet articles.
This project intended to demonstrate how different amounts of salt affect how much water will rise.
