Effective study skills are the sole foundation of a solid education.
Education is a complex subject and shouldn’t be associated with only one or two factors. Garrison (2010) says that
“ A successful education is one that incorporates a host of interactive elements”.

According to Hansen,( 2000), “All of the research reviews supports the hypothesis that students performance depends on different socioeconomic, psychological and environmental factors. The finding of research studies focused that student performance is affected by different factors such as learning abilities because new papermoradigm about learning assumes that all students can and should learn at higher levels but it should not be considered as constraint because there are other factors like race, gender, sex that can affect students’ performance.
Walters and Soyibo (1998) stated the difference in performance within the students depending on their gender, on their school type or location and their socio-economic background.

Research carried out by Goldman, Harvey, and Koffer,(1998) tried to explain the link between student’s performance and their individual economic circumstances.” Students from a poorer background and facing the risk of becoming a drop out had a positive effect on their academic achievements” Hansen (2000).
Another factor to consider is the social and cultural backround of a student . Pressure is added to individuals depending on their personal and beliefs. Some cultures are...
