While it makes sense, it was interesting to see that the professor started off with the Elizabethan Poor Law’s and moves forward. Ellwood’s idea of a conundrum to explain the American society was quite interesting. It was also interesting to see that the government involvement may be a contributing factor to why single parent and female-headed households are up to 25% compared to the past.
