Thank you for your letter about possibility of changing a venting apparatus in the campus’s design plan. I have concentrated to this request carefully. As you probably know, every project is custom designed and involves a variety of sub-contractors and therefore we usually do not change the design after a date specified in the contract. Any changes that we have to be made after the deadline are not easy. Before we make any decisions, we contacted with the design engineer about this issue if we could work on your request.
Apparently, in that particular location is a zoning restriction on this kind of venting. Even though this restriction is not well enforced, changing location of a venting apparatus is related to the visual profile of the building. Also, the company lawyer has already told us, that EBG was currently working with city council members to have some environmentally-friendly but controversial legislation passed, and this could impact on our company badly.
Therefore, I’m truly sorry for any inconvenience that may cause you. We always want to provide the highest quality service to you.
