Intro
Theartre of Creultry and Epic thertre are very doffernent theatre types and display rather differnent obsitcales and techniques towards the auidience and how to invole the audience within their perfomaces. They display different techniues from using flahblacks to provoke rational self-reflection and a critical view of the action on the stage and to invole the audience to other infomation that the other chacters don't know about (dramatic irony)all the way to making the audience think about the perofmance not just about the entertainment.

Describing the energy and impact of a radical new way of performing and responding in a strong and often dark imagery, and brings forth the irrational impulses that could be stimulated by suffering and pain and argued that every facet of theatricality should be employed to increase a sense of danger, violence and disorientation in the audience. Over accentuating emotions and being more dramatic towards emotional situations to intensify the audiences feelings and how they can be affected by the performance. Showing emotions and putting more strength and releasing the inner self towards situations to make the audience feel part of the play, for example screaming, crying yelling and any source of sorrow or anger can build up tension of the play and make the audience really feel the emotions like it's been given to them though a performance. An other example is the closing of the eyes during certain situations, this can block out the audiences sight and make them hear everything that happening to provoke conditions that would force the release of primitive instincts of whatever is happening. The actors mainly focus whatever was encouraged to them to openly use emotions and no emphasis on individual characters in a performance (emphasis on the written or spoken text was significantly reduced). Characters also were less defined by movement, gesture and to involve the actors to part take in a form of dance compared to spoken and open dialogue and the actor was to avoid stereotyped gestures: one for each emotion.
