In Florida, you do not need a permit to carry a gun. Even if you’re 18 years old. Also, if you’re 21 in Florida, you still do not need a permit, but expect open carrying a gun. As of right now, some states are determined whether or not give guns to teachers/staff. One reason why they shouldn’t arm teachers/staff, is that a student would steal the gun. This could happen if the teacher left his code in the classroom in his/her cabinet or the student was left inside the classroom. Then the student would grab the firearm and start a school shooting.
