Oracle is a very well known system that has been the backbone to numerous companies throughout the world. They have systems within systems. Since they are one of the largest systems used, they have the best input practices, best storage processes, and the best security settings as well. “Oracle is the industry's leading data warehousing platform for delivering business insights across a wide range of activities, from optimizing customer experiences to increasing operational efficiency. Oracle's high-performance and optimized solutions provide in-database advanced analytics, enhanced datasets from big data, and industry-specific insights to drive increased innovation, profitability, and competitive advantage.” ("Oracle", n.d.).

Data entry is going to be extremely important to Riordan Manufacturing. They are going to need to be able to collect customer information, order information, customized order requests and other important information that may be vital to their profit and company. Oracle offers an array of databases where information can be stored based on the type of company they are storing information for. The thing that goes hand in hand with data entry is customer service. Oracle is well known for their systems and how easy they make the customer service flow. Their software promotes an easy call and order process.

After the data entry process, then comes how the data is actually stored for the company. How a company stores data is incredibly important because of a number of reasons. A company needs to be able to quickly access the order and customer information in their system, and know that they system is reliable enough to retrieve the correct information.
