Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Introduction
The TSYS Code of Business Conduct and Ethics (the "Code") covers a wide range of business practices and procedures within a corporation .While it does not cover every issue that may arise, this Code outlines basic principles to guide all employees and officers of the Company and its majority-owned subsidiaries ("team members"). In addition, all members of the Company's Board of Directors and members of the boards of directors of the Company's majority-owned subsidiaries, in regard to their Company duties, are responsible for conducting themselves in connection with the applicable provisions of this code. Apart from governmental rules and regulations, religious beliefs and practices are among the key determinants of moral conduct and ethics which are exhibited by any given society. Therefore, the level of moral and ethical influence in a given society directly correlates to the religious doctrines which dominate in that society. One must be careful not to offend or disrespect the other party, in business, how people judge your code of conduct is critical to sustainable success because it is the basis of honesty, loyalty and respect for others. That are the primary reason people do business with your company and those essential assets can be destroyed by actions which either are, or are perceived to be unethical. Thus, successful employees must be concerned with their honesty, respect for others, and loyalty, if they ever want to have a good reputation. Honesty. In business is to be honest in all communications and actions. Ethical employees and staff are, above all, worthy of trust and honesty being that they are the cornerstone of the corporation. They are not only truthful,

...Final Form Professional Ethics Statement Hanaa Juma Concordia University- Portland Abstract This ethical statement offers a scholarly and professional analysis of ethical matters that often confront professionals in the educational field. In addition to exploring the foundation of my ethical principles, this paper explores the interdependent relationships of the mind, body, and soul in shaping the whole ethical being and the influence of theories such as Utilitarianism upon my values. The ethics portrayed in my professional life as an educator have the power to impact my students and colleagues immensely. It is therefore imperative to implement a systematic, in-depth analysis of my ethical beliefs, thoughts, and conduct. The professional obligations of the educator require the educator to inspire students and guide them to possess the knowledge and skills necessary to discover “what is excellent and true” (Markie, 1994). This professional ethics statement affirms the role of the mind, body, soul, and community in ethics as well as the responsibility of educators to purposefully and consistently strive for portraying their ethical best in professional relationships and conduct. Keywords: ethics, utilitarianism, education, mind, body, soul Ethical Foundation Among the many facets that comprise the total human experience, ethical frameworks mold and shape the character and the conduct of each individual within both their personal and professional lives. ...Business Ethics Glock Company Marketing Approach The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution has been in the news heavily lately. The amendment “reads: "A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." (cornell.edu) Many companies have taken to the business of crafting and selling firearms. One such company is Glock, inc out of Austria. They market their firearms worldwide. Their advertisements try to take a humorous approach to owning a gun and the situations where having a gun can be lifesaving. This approach is unethical based on a utilitarian approach. Advertisements can take on a humorous approach in certain situations, however when it comes to being attacked and needing a weapon is not the way to market firearms. Glock Company has had several commercials over the years that take on this approach. Searching youtube.com for gun commercials will find the first link to 4 of them and is labeled as “Funniest Top 4 Gun Commercials” (youtube.com) When dealing with guns and the situations where having one can be lifesaving and making it a funny situation hurts the victims and the families involved. It makes it seem like it’s not that big of a deal and the situation is easily solved with having a gun. Instead of promoting how to properly own and maintain a gun it is shown in the air of humor. When a victim is put into that situation and they have to take the life...
