Are you discouraged? Do you live in survival mode, just trying to make it through the day? Satan, our adversary, is a thief. He wants to steal your life from you. He wants to render you useless for the kingdom of God. One way he does this is by turning your attention and desires away from Christ, toward the things of this world. Satan wants you to focus on what you don’t have, what you have lost, or what has been taken from you. But Christ is your Shepherd, and He came to give you life, true life, which is abundant and eternal. When He gave His life on the cross for us, He defeated satan and broke his power and authority over us.
