Hi, my name is Bianca Flores. I am a goka. I go to gardeprobe academy. Gardeprobe has two different types of people. Goka are the females, goku are the males. I’m a five star goka. Let me tell you more about me. I’m fifteen years old. I have light blue hair and white eyes. I’m a sophomore. Us gokas are forced to use skirts. I’m not much of a skirts fan.
It’s January the first. Our school is hosting a new years day festival. I run out of my apartment. It’s already 6:45. I’m a performer in the festival and the president of the whole sophomore student body. I’m supposed to be at school by 7. I am running right now. I hear my cell phone ringing.
I call you up when I know he’s at home, I jump out of my skin when he picks up the phone, how can I tell if he’s looking at me, should I give him a smile, should I get up and leave.
This song is the beginning of ‘best friends brother’ by Victoria Justice. I take out my phone from my pocket. I love sharks and dolphins so I have a great white shark picture on my iphone.
“Hello?” I say.
“Hey! It’s me, Alice.”
“Hey Alice! I know I’m late. I’m running to the school now!”
“Well hurry! All the school’s officers are here besides you and Beck!” I see the school and run to the front doors.
“I’m at the school. Open the door for me please!?”
“K, S.U.I”
“K.” I hang up. If you’re wondering what S.U.I. means, it means See You Inside. Alice then opens the door. Alice is the sophomore vice president. She has white hair and ruby red eyes. I would describe her as very nice and very smart. She always wants to help others.
“Hey again Alice.”
“Let’s go. We have a lot to do before 5pm. The other students will be here in an hour. We have to figure out how to set all this up.” We walk up the stairs to the second floor.
We turn the corner and walk to the peace room. The peace room is where all the class officers meet. I open the door and we both come in.
“Sorry I’m late. Overslept.” I said.
“That’s ok.” Senior president Caroline said. Caroline has dark blondish-brownish hair and reddish-pinkish eyes. Let me list the class officers.

A lot, huh. I take my seat in the sophomore section.
“Ok, everybody. We have to get this festival ready by 5pm. 5th graders, tell us what your plan is for the games.” Caroline said. Caroline has a western style of talking, but she’s not from a western place. Pretty weird, huh?
Karen stands up. “We think that there should be the usual horse toss, bowling, basketball, soccer, hit the bottle, and others on this list. We also hope that we can be in the ticket booths. 4 class officers and 4 ticket booths.” She sat back down.
“I am so sorry but the teachers won’t let us. But you are welcome to get the games ready. When the rest of the students come you will be driven to a toy store and pick nice prize’s for the game champions.” Caroline said.
“Agreed.”Karen said.
“To make this quick since we’re running out of time I will tell all grades their roles. 5th graders, you’re in charge of the prizes. 6th graders, you’re in charge of getting the food. 7th graders, you’re in charge of the kind of games. 8th graders, you decide the price of the food, games and tickets. Freshman, you will be at the ticket booths. Sophomores, you will be at the game booths. Juniors, wait, where is Beck?”
Door busts open. “I’m here! Howard sent me what you said so far.”He sat down by the juniors.
“As I was saying, Juniors, are going to be in the food booths. Us Seniors will be the one saying stuff on the mic. All music majors must go to the auditorium to rehearse for performing. Dance majors go to the courtyard to rehearse their dances. Theatre majors go to the black box to practice your acts. And art majors must go to the art room to make the banners. I’ll say the rest when the other students get here.”
“They’re here now.” I said seeing some buses outside letting kids out.
“You all are dismissed.” Caroline said. All of us leave and go to our homeroom class.

Name Of My Utopian Society

...Name of Your Utopian Society The name of my utopia is Fangirl Topia. I have chosen my name because it act as a place for Fangirls to be without being judged. Although it is called “Fangirl Topia”, Fan-woman, Fan-men, and Fanboys are welcome. Declaration of Independence When in the course of human events, it becomes important for social classes to be divided. After the blog war of 2022, President Kanye West divided the United States of America into the US and Fangirl Topia. Fangirl Topia now occupies the region of California, Montana, Nevada, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and only part of Wyoming due to the civil war after the release of Superman v Batman: Dawn of Justice in 2016. The US has broken our trust by bullying and judging Fangirls, Fanboys, Fan-men, and Fan-women. Many US citizens also think very little of books, movies, etc., and that will not be tolerated. The need to form Fangirl Topia came from the ideas of the Blog War and the judgements of many US citizens....

...That’s just hypocrisy, you know. Disney says the world is not ready for an openly gay movie. They also keep releasing whitewashed movies. When will the world be ready for LGBT characters if we don’t do anything and just keep waiting for the world to get itself ready? Ugh, I’m so mad at about this. I just needed to pour it out. I’m so mad at Hollywood and celebrities for their hypocrisy. Discrimination is a real issue. Racism is a real issue. Well, actually, what do expect from people who still pay women less, you know? Actually, it’s more problematic that people don’t even think about boycotting these kind of things. Those movies are there because you watch them. Why do you settle for this while it’s so problematic? Tumblr fangirls annoy me with the...

Music My Lyfe

...Nowadays , for most teenage girls, fangirl is a normal thing. music is just a part of every day of our life. Being one of them is quite real because of their innocent young mind but for sure, they prefer certain bands and have their favorite songs that they played all over again, but in comparison to being a fan girl, that's just a drop in the ocean. (BAZILAH) Super fans, better known as fan girls, devote themselves to books, television shows, movies, music, and celebrities all the time. Whether it's purchasing the newest merchandise or attending the next concert, fan girls make it a mission to support their obsessions as much as possible. For me, it all started when a friend introduced me to the world's most famous band such as, artic monkeys, the beatles, one direction, the vamps and more!  And kpop too hehehe (ANIS) What started out as a simple hobby soon became an obsession. My friends started following the band members on social media in the beginning. That quickly turned into purchasing albums, posters, notebooks, and even pillows that have their faces on them. They're the first thing on our mind when we wake up, the last thought that comes to mind before bed, and nearly every thought in-between.  (MARYAM) Being a fan girl was never easy. Apart from the constant heartache that results from knowing you'll never be with them, fan girls have to face many challenges. From school mates poking fun at us to family members disapproving, the whole experience can become...

...Pointless Art or Meaningful Symbols? Hipsters, rockers, goths, hippies and other similar modern trends all have one thing in common: tattoos. This obviously doesn’t mean that everyone who are dressed in the code of these trends have tattoos on them but most adults do. Now, many individuals, when they hear “tattooed people” might imagine a person with tattoo’s instead of sleeves but that’s going from one level of extreme to another. Tats can vary in different sizes; from small to big and from single tats to connecting them all together into an enormous one. Tattoos represent so many different things that it’s impossible to mention every single meaning. Some of the things that tattoos stand for are family, friends, unforgettable memories, meaningful quotes or pictures… So all permanent body art always has a meaning behind it otherwise it’s just a plain meaningless sketch with empty symbols. So if it represents someone’s character, why do they get judged or laughed at? Often people get discriminated for having ink on their bodies by many believers who either think that your body is a gift and you should keep it safe or they may believe that tattoos represent something evil or even satanic. Obviously, we shouldn’t really care what others say but at some point it may touch us in the sense of differing from others and making ourselves feel bad about our body. Yes, our body and our life is a wonderful gift that we should treasure but why should others care about what we...

More Than a Friend

...More Than A Friend Girls? They’re nasty. All they do is stalk their crushes, fangirl all the time, spread crazy rumors, gossip everywhere, every time. Girl best friend? Why would I even bother. Why would I even want to learn girl stuff or listen to their boyfriend problems 101? But who would even imagine, that in just a blink of an eye, I would be best friends with not just one but five of them. Girls who became, somehow, my reason to wake up every morning. But not all of them are the subject of this composition. The girl almost all males have crush on. The girl who is very talented in almost all aspects. She may be chubby, but she’s beautiful. She may own a face of a baby, but she’s strong. She is my “bestest friend” among the five. She is my human Barbie, my guidance counsellor, my older sister, and God’s definition of true friendship. She is Kathlyne Mei Pua. Our kind of relationship is unexplainable. Our eyes talk like we had our own secret club. We fought rumors like army soldiers, and share food like hungry dogs. We may be weird, but we’re the best kind of weird. All I know is we’re best friends trying to cope up with each other’s thoughts, trying to do the best yet the most fun way to live life. Not a day goes by without I thinking about her. Now that she graduated and left me behind, not a day passes by without I missing her by my side, without I thinking how lucky I was to have met her. I miss her every time something really good happens, because she’s...

K-Pop

...Good morning to Miss Liana and fellow classmates, my name is Chua Wen Yee and the topic I’m going to talk about today is K-Pop. First of all, I’ll start off with some basic facts. K-Pop is a musical genre originated from South Korea. The pioneer of K-Pop is Seo Taeji and The Boys, which one of the member is the CEO of YG Entertainment, home of Big Bang and 2NE1 now. K-Pop was strongly criticized by a lot of people, including me. However it has been rising day by day and not only conquered the Asia music market but it is also globalized in the sense that there are K-Pop fans all over the world. According to my research, in year 2012, 68 K-Pop groups made their debut compared to 12 in year 2008. From hate to love, from critics to praise, how does this happened? I think everyone of you definitely has a friend who is a hardcore K-Pop fan. Most of you must have suffered a lot because they like to share their K-Pop information and ask you to watch funny videos very much. Thanks to them, you’ll slowly found out that you are starting to love K-Pop and soon you’ll become one of them. Seriously, some of you may wonder why people love K-Pop so much? The reasons are simple. First of all, the songs are really nice. There are three main components in a song, melody, choreography and visual. Catchy and repeated chorus is one of the reasons why K-Pop songs can be viral and popular. For example, “Wow, fantastic baby”, “because I’m shadow, shadow, shadow”, “bwara Mr. simple simple” or “I...

Swardspeak's Origin

...Swardspeak Swardspeak (also known as "Bekimon" and "gay lingo") is an argot or cant slang derived from Englog (Tagalog-English code-switching) and used by a number of homosexuals in the Philippines.[1] Description Swardspeak uses elements from Tagalog, English, Spanish, and some from Japanese, as well as celebrities' names and trademark brands, giving them new meanings in different contexts.[2] It is largely localized within gay communities, making use of words derived from the local languages or dialects, including Cebuano, Hiligaynon, Waray, and Bicolano. Usage A defining trait of swardspeak slang is that it immediately identifies the speaker as homosexual, making it easy for people of that orientation to recognize each other. This creates an exclusive group among its speakers and helps them resist cultural assimilation. More recently, though, even non-members of the gay community use this way of speaking, particularly heterosexual members of industries dominated by gays, such as the fashion and film industries. By using swardspeak, Filipino gays are able to resist the dominant culture of their area and create a space of their own.[3] The language is constantly changing, with old phrases becoming obsolete and new phrases frequently entering everyday usage, reflecting changes in their culture and also maintaining exclusivity. The dynamic nature of the language refuses to cement itself in a single culture and allows for more freedom of expression among its speakers. Words and...

Scott Bluemel Marketing Plan: Phase I Overview of the Organization The entertainment industry is a vastly changing business, although the ideology has stayed the same throughout history. Since the earliest documented cases started appearing, stories and music were used to overcome and surpass dark times in cultures throughout the world. In more recent historical examples, during the great depression, the largest break through for the entertainment industry began to show by way of movies, musicals, radio and early television. Movies really began to dawn as a way to escape the realities of everyday life and live vicariously in a world of wonder and enchantment, or love and drama, for those who had more serious worries in the real world. With the progression of technology, movies have become a literal escape, with millions of followers across the globe. The movie industry has made such dramatic leaps in technology that the demand for movies and theaters has grown largely over the past 20 years.
