Skipping school is a normal thing for middle and high schoolers. Ferris Bueller's day off takes it to a whole nother level. The movie is a high school senior who likes to take lots of days off from school by faking sick. When he is home from school he tries to squeeze every ounce out of it. In the movie, he takes his girlfriend and his friend to Chicago. They watch a cubs game, go out to a fancy restaurant, and do a lot of other fun things. However, His principal Rooney smells something funny with Bueller and tries to catch him skipping school. Ultimately he fails but he comes very close to catching him and holding him back another year. He manages to almost get caught but like all movies, he wins in the end and doesn’t get caught. What separates Bueller from the rest of the pack is how he chooses to spend his day off. Most people stay home and sleep in and lounge around the whole day. Bueller waste no time he gets up showers and then makes his plans for the day. Bueller does have some things working for him because his parents get home at six which allows him more time do things. Still, he uses that time to the fullest. However, his sister knows his tricks and tries to get him caught all the time. It's almost in exact comparison to Phineas and Ferb except Bueller skips schools and does fun things compared to making some science project. What makes this film special, in the end, is Ferris Bueller and how similar he is to the average person who skips school every once in
