The mission of Draka holding N.V as follow: We do so much more than just supply cables; we supply the whole package. We really listen to our customers and talk with them about their requirements and the challenges they face. We then tailor our cable solutions to meet their individual specifications. This includes assistance during installation and ongoing maintenance, making Draka a 'one-stop-shop' for all our customers' needs - and all to the very highest standards. * Volume: Low According to the Excel sheet we got, we can clearly figure out that Draka is Low repetition, because the Volume it sold is not a large amount compare with their revenue. It is reasonable consider Draka want to be customer-oriented. * Variety: High
We also can find out Draka provide more than 100 different products in the Excel sheet, which mean the variety is high. High-variety products are relatively flexible and match the customers need. It is totally correspond with the Draka’s mission, since they want to tailor their cable solutions to meet customers’ individual specifications. * Variation: High We calculate the sales of each quarter of Draka, there are not fluctuant at the first three quarter, but a little decrease at quarter 4. It seems the demand of Variation is quite stable, however, if we look into each single product, it cannot be predicted in advance and are likely to cause turbulence in planning and some variation in demand level.
