Definitions:
Memory - Memory stores data temporarily for rapid retrieval.
Control Unit – The control unit is a component of a computer’s central processing unit (CPU) that directs operation of the processor.
Arithmetic Logic Unit – A digital circuit that performs arithmetic and bitwise logical operations on integer binary numbers.
Accumulator – A register for short-term, intermediate storage of arithmetic and logic data in a computer’s central processing unit.
Input – The act of entering data into a computer.
Output – Anything that comes out of a computer.
