well, ''miss fight for d women's rights''....I am a virtuous guy and I solemnly believe in the acts of doing that which is rite and avoiding that which is wrong. My perspective also goes inline with a biblical standing. I read your seemingly admissible speech..A speech that I deem to be somewhat misguided, invalid, demeaning, ill-conceived, ill-spoken, repugnant or shud i call it a truth in reverse; yes A TRUTH IN REVERSE...young lady look around you, the feminine species are becoming stronger and stronger by the day...are u kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!.....Talking bou men taking advantage of women blah blah blah.....Av u heard the slogan that was commonly accepted by the people governing the world of a misconceptual and unconstitutional disposition...EVERY WOMAN HAS A SOLE RESPONSIBILITY AND OBLIGATION TO HOLD DER ENTITLED HUSBANDS TIGHTLY...That slogan was valid back in d day...now its obsolete or more like renewed to, EVERY MAN HAS AN ULTIMATUM OF TYING DOWN DER WIVES....This ultimatums did not just end at being a must do, it was more of a combination of doing and preparing for the worse...This feminine creatures, beyond reasonable doubts are completely off both the biblical and ethical approach to God's designated course of life in line wif marital affairs....What effortless effrontery dis anurika of a gurl has to dare talk about how unfaithful and cruel the men are interms of marital or relationship affairs. Lemme give u a true life story....my beautiful bride (Tolani) and I were on the verge of getting married. We wer so in love to a point dat we finish each others sentences LOL!!!. The excitement was undeniably amusing and to tell u the truth, We were meant for each other. My Fiancée and I decided to throw a dinner Just for the purpose of announcing to everyone one, our somewhat sudden marriage; most people would say its kind of sudden since we’ve only dated for six months, nevertheless we had already made our decision and there was no going back. Then came the wonderful dinner, as expected, every family members and friends showed up. The night was so full of joy and so much love in the air. You could see the beauty in the moment and passive the sweet smell of aroma and fragrance, filled in the air wif beautiful faces all around. I recognised half a dozen, every one present, the rest I had never seen before. Most of the attendees were female; friends to my fiancée I figured. Friends I had never met or heard of. It was about Eight-thirty; the night was still young. Our little home was already filled to about a 70 people. I was particularly excited and nervous at the same time, given the fact that what I was about to embark on was indeed, very much a big step of my entire life. The thought of announcing my wedding was even much more scary than the actual wedding event. ‘’What are the odds’’ I tot to myself as I was gazing at my reflection in the mirror located in our rest room. ‘’You can do this’’, I kept on iterating those words to myself. My anxiety became uncontrollable ‘’Shoot I need some anxiety pills’’ became my focal point of anxiety. The door opened behind me!! and I looked from the mirror in front of me since it was directly opposite the restroom door and behold it was a feminine face!! An extremely pretty one at that!!.’’What the hell is she doing in the men’s restroom’’ I tot to myself. Before I cud turn back to See her actual figure, she immediately closed the door behind her. SMH and giggling in amazement to myself ‘’What the hell just happened’’. Within a split second, my anxiety or whatever feeling of nervousness I had, disappeared. All of a sudden, I was rushing up to quickly leave the rest room just so I cud get a better look of who dat ‘’fine tin’’ was. I immediately opened the door and there she was leaning by the wall directly opposite myself. Our eyes met and she gave me this look dat says ’’I need you inside me’’. ‘’Hmm-hmm’’ I silently muttered, ‘’Is this the love of my life or what.’’? Insane tots started running through my mind within the moment of opening the door and staring into her eyes. All dat happening took about three seconds and the fourth second, she gave me a smile dat indicates ’’I fnk have fallen in love wif u’’!! ‘’I was thinking u won’t come out, coz I really had to go’’ she said . Again my memory lane started auto generation of insane tots.’’ Is this the sweetest voice have heard in years or what’’.
‘’ Will you marry me’’ I was still tinking. Then I was like ‘’uhm’’; It was taking 5years for the words to come out of my mouth, more like 5seconds in real time; ‘’uhm, but u cud av used the female’s restroom, ’’ I said. All of a sudden she giggles and says ‘’you’re are funny’’. Also giggling back and asked ‘’why am I funny’’???; She then points at the sign inscribed to the door which read ‘’Female’’. In total shame and disbelief I managed a smile saying ‘’oops, crazy me’’. She giggles and says ‘’Yea crazy u’’. She walks past me and goes into the female’s restroom. I was left half inarticulate, mesmerised and almost struck down by her sweet smell. Half giggling as I made my way into the men’s restroom. Washing my face again when the door suddenly opens behind me..’’Who is it again o’’, I tot to my self; there she was, same girl. Turning back in astonishment, our eyes met again and I said ‘’Well’’, then she smiles and says ‘’I found this phone, in the female’s restroom and I figured it belonged to you, since u were d last female I saw come out of there.’’ Ohh shoot, its mine, thanks’’ I said to her as I was extending my hand to collect my phone, when she immediately withdraws her hand back!!!. To my surprise at what manner of game this girl was trying to play, she took few steps towards me, like she was about to ‘French kiss me or something’. Almost a walk through me; standing inches btw myself and hers she den puts the phone in my pocket saying ’’next time don’t use the ladies room, I know its ur party but try not to’’. Nodding wif acknowledgement I was forced to say ‘’Ait cul’’. Once again, she leaves me in the restroom, inarticulate. Watched her walk away in her sexy peplum gown.’’ boohoo, look at dose legs’’!!, I muttered, squeezing my face. To be continued

Women Who Fight Term Paper

...For centuries women have fought for their rightful place in society and their God-given rights as humans. In some countries, women are still subjected to harsh, defiling conditions. While fighting for these rights, women characters in short stories, novels, plays, and even poetry were made to beat the odds of normalcy. In some instances, these women were portrayed as heroines. Three perfect examples of women characters before their time are Nora Helmer from A Doll’s House, Antigone from Antigone, and Emily Grierson from “A Rose for Emily.” These sapid characters, Antigone, Emily, and Nora, step from the normal roles as women and fight against all authority, stand up for what they believe in, and break the laws as they fall. To better understand the character, one must first understand the author and the time period in which the story was written. Sophocles wrote many dramatic plays including, Antigone. Sophocles, like many of his characters in his plays, was a hero of sorts. He held many public offices and was a general during the Samian War and the Archidamian War. “Sophocles was a priest of Halon and helped introduce the cult of Asclepius, god of medicine, to Athens” (Gill). He grew up in a town known as Colonus, but he stayed in Athens most of the time (Gill). His play, Antigone, was written in 441 B. C., in Ancient Greece. (Sophocles 1465) . In the dramatic play, Antigone, Antigone undergoes a deadly battle with her uncle, future father-in-law, and king, Creon. Antigone...

2. Women Should Have the Right to Fight Alongside Men.

...Women should have the right to fight alongside men. Why shouldn't women have equal rights? Why can’t women fight for pride and justice? Why shouldn't women be able to serve their country with pride? Men may say that women are weak and feeble, but we really aren't. Men have tunnel vision, they only focus on what they are meant to do. Whereas we women, are able to look outside the box and come up with other plans in case one of our previous ones doesn't take place properly. We live in a world where, financial independence, equal pay and employment opportunities for women are all backed up by the law. With rights come responsibilities. Women that sign up to serve their country's don't expect it to be all flowers and rainbows out in the field. When we sign up we know that every back street, every market place, every playground is a war ground. We do not expect people to make exceptions just because we are women, we realize that there are dangers in war. Women can endure double the amount of pain a man can, we go through child birth, we put up with our periods every month. Like any job, employee's are picked because of their qualities and skills. It's the same in the forces, soldiers are picked because of their qualities and skills. Women can have many different skill's. Why shouldn't women be allowed to fight in combat alongside men? The question isn't in what the women can do, it's what the men will think of it. Women deserve to be treated equally to men. We don't join the forces...

How Far Do You Agree That Women Had Made Significant Gains in Their Fight for Equality by 1980?

...How far do you agree that women had made significant gains in their fight for equality by 1980? Equality is ensuring individuals or groups of individuals are treated fairly and equally on the grounds of their race, gender, religion, disability, age or sexual orientation. One such group of individuals who are in an unremitting fight for equality in context of gender and race are woman within the United States exemplified by the World economic forum global gender gap report of 2015, ranking the country 28th in terms of equality between men and woman. Although in terms of the global demographic the ranking appears adequate – impressive even by some accounts, the unwavering determination of the feminist movement leading up the 1980’s, disappointingly appears to pale in vain to the statistic. Indeed this trait of gender inequality is consistent not only today but also throughout America’s history. On the 3rd February 1870 the 15th Amendment to the constitution of the United States of America declared that all US citizens had equal voting rights. Indeed this would prove to be an unequivocally vital development in socio-political dynamic of the country, however the amendment ultimately marginalised and repudiated a fundamental gender arguing that they served no purpose other than to adhere to gender roles ministering to a man and reproducing. – The female. In perspective one could argue that the recognition of US citizenship within the parameters of voting rights proved to be the...

Herstory and Firstwave Feminism

...ongoing campaign to abolish inequality between the sexes on a multitude of platforms. The movement has been a prevalent part of history around the world, with origins as early as the 1500s with literature sprinkled with the mention of women having mind, reason and a voice that is equal to that of a man. This fight for women to be placed on the same level as men has seen much struggle and oppression that is still prevalent in today’s world. However, the fight for women in today’s world is labeled as feminism, which quite literally means the social, political, and economic rights of the sexes. Rebecca Lewin depicts feminism as a “model for a social state – an ideal, or a desired standard of perfection not yet attained in the world”. Lewin expressed this in 1983, and still today’s society has failed to reach this goal. Feminism has transformed into the second “F” word, where society labels feminism as a harmful, extremist movement. The feminist movement has become synonymous with man – hating, bra – burning, lesbians who engage in radical protests to ultimately eliminate men from society and become a female dominated world. Which, is why this world needs a continued women’s rights movement to eradicate the ideology that fighting for the equality of women is obscene or unnatural. Feminism eventually inspired the term “Herstory”, which emerged in the 1960s, a very exciting time in American history full of social change. Herstory aims to look at history through a women’s perspective...

Womanism Is To Lavender

...using this quote in her book In Search of our Mother’s Gardens. What is womanism? What are womanist views of feminism and are they well founded? Many womanists would agree that the feminist movement was only to created to end sexism. Author Bell Hooks states that anyone who supports feminist politics needs to comprehend the fact that the work does not end with the fight for gender equality (Hooks, 662). Many womanists would believe that feminism was only created by middle-class white women for middle-class white women, and they would be correct. Many feminists only believe in equal rights for middle-class...

The Equal Rights Amendment

...Merrit Duke History of American Women May 27, 2015 Equality: Too Much to Ask For? The Equal Rights Amendment has been the source of much debate for almost an entire century now. Since first purposed by Alice Paul in the 1920s one’s stance on the potential amendment has been a dividing factor in the political sphere. Though the amendment was shut down in the 1920s there has been discussion about adding the Equal Rights Amendment into the constitution today. If the potential amendment was to be brought back up my stance on the debate would be in support of the amendment. For some background on the debate on the Equal Rights Amendment it would be good to look back and see where activists in the past were split and what about the Equal Rights Amendment has divided them. The Antebellum era gave two different types of women activists, the true women and the Early Feminists. The True Women argued for gender distinctions, separate spheres, domesticity, and women as moral guardians in their natural role as a mother. The True Women would be the women who be apposed to the Equal Rights Amendment and would be active in the fight against it. Arguing against the True Women were the Early Feminists who stressed gender equality, suffrage for women, equal education, human rights, and saw women as rational beings. This group of activists would be in support of the Equal Rights Amendment. Next would be the Progressive era where the two parties in the debate would be the Early Feminists and...

Changing Our World

...was always aware of the fight for equality among women and men but I was never aware of the amount of strategic planning and combined effort that this battle took to win. Foolishly, I viewed the battle simply as one gender against the other, blind to the variety of what was deemed important to the different types and classes of women. The story of women’s liberation is proof that good communication is the key ingredient to solving differences. I was very impressed with the amount of combined effort and corporation it took to put together the Boston Women’s Health Book Collective. I always viewed the fight for women’s liberation as a slow process, never viewing it in the different stages that now seem so obvious. In my opinion the first wave of women had the hardest battle to conquer. Although they focused on mainly one issue, the right to vote, it was the first barrier of many to break down. The first barrier is usually the toughest, as is apparent in the number of years it took to complete this task. The second wave feminist did not have it easy but at least some men were already on their way to accepting women’s right. The fight for global women’s rights may end up being the toughest fight to win. As mentioned previously corporation and understanding is the key to getting tasks accomplished and with the great distances and differences in nationalities among women globally it is going to take a great deal of teamwork. Today’s working women tend to have more medical...

Women Equal to Men

...Women Equal to Men This world has many questions to ask about Global Warming, Why Animals are going Extinct, Technology advancing quickly and The Growth of population. A common question that is commonly debated everyday is Are Women Equal to Men? Of course each gender has their answer to the question. Men say that they are more dominant and have harder responsibilities. The Women say that Men do not have harder responsibilities and they can do the work Men Do. Men work to provide income for the family and Women stay at home cook, take care of the kids, wash clothes, and do house chores. This is the kind of wife every Man desires. Men and Women must realize their respective equal roles and strive the complement each other in their shared struggles to improve life. Traditionally Men are the ones that go out and make money to provide for the family. This is why they think that they work harder than Women. They say that women are weak and cannot do the jobs that they do. For example imagine a women being a carpenter. This would be abnormal for a woman to do hard labour work and make carpentry. Men are the ones that have experience of formal jobs, get higher paying jobs, and have more opportunities. “Men-the-sovereign will provide woman-the-liege with material protection and will undertake the more justification of her existence: thus she can evade at once both economic risk and the metaphysical risk of a liberty in which ends and aims contrived without assistance” (Beauvoir 346)...

Rape

...Rape Why Fight It Just Remain Alive Abstract As I awoken with a knife to my throat I felt very confused, frightened and alarmed. I was unaware of what was taking place until I heard a faint whisper warning me not to move or scream or I would soon meet my fate. I gently felt his hands caressing all over my body violating my most intimate parts. I suddenly rose up in disarray, as he began to burrow the knife deeper within my throat. At that moment I just relaxed to allow him to do as he pleases. I thought to myself that I just need to get through this, besides why fight it; I need to remain alive. According to Wikipedia “Rape is a type of sexual assault usually involving sexual intercourse, which is initiated by one or more persons against another person without that person’s consent,(2011),. A person who commits an act of rape is known as a rapist. The Act may be carried out by physical force, coercion, abuse of authority or with a person who is incapable of a valid consent”. Statistics show that the vast majority of women are more prone to be raped than males, with 99% of the offenders being males. Statistics states that women are more likely to be hospitalized or worse during a violent attack by their male counterpart. Without a reliable plan or proper self-defense class training, if the rape victim chooses to fight they will more and likely end up severely injured or dead. Women are not built to fight a man, for...
