A day at the gym; a life time of happiness

In three years I would have liked to have reached my long term fitness goals. It is hard for me to plan this far in advanced so I have thought of many short term goals to lead up to the ending point. I would like to be thinner, more muscular and eating healthier. I know with the help of my friends and family I can achieve these goals in a shorter amount of time. I also know I have to keep my head held high and not give up in the times of struggle. There are many different tasks that I will need to do to get thinner. Cardio is a major way to sweat off those extra pounds that I want rid of. To do this I will devote and hour of my day to attending the gym. While at the gym I will do different cardio activities such as running on the treadmill, the elliptical, and maybe even join a cardio workout class. All these things will help to shed those extra pounds that I do not want. While losing those extra pounds to become thinner, I will also need to work on gaining muscle. In order to do this I will need to use the machines at the gym to strengthen my arms, legs, and abs. So on top of doing cardio, I will alternate upper and lower body to shed the “flab” and build muscle tone. There are many different exercises that I can do such as the ab-coaster and leg presses. I can always ask a personal trainer to help me on my journey to becoming thinner and gaining muscle. I will also need to eat healthier. One way I will do this is instead of eating out; I will cook/eat a home-cooked meal with less fat and less calories. Making better food choices is not hard to do, I just have to constantly remind myself of the reasons why I have decided to eat better and have a daily workout planned.
