Food is not only a necessity but can be a luxury. I love food. Anyone who knows me, knows that I love to cook and eat all different kinds of foods. In fact, on hot summer days, I would day dream. I always dreamed of owning my personal grocery store, but not just any grocery store. I wanted to own a store with good workers, that was a great experience for shoppers, and that had tons of choices of foods. As I became older, I realize I might need to work in an actual store before I ever attempting owning one. I am now a manager for a store called Food for Days. When shopping at Food for Days, you will always leave with a smile. Working as a head manager at Food for Days is an enjoyable job because the staff is easy to manage, the store is well organized, and the deals we offer to customers are great. …show more content…
Most times you have to go through a lot of attitudes and not hard workers, but that not a problem here. Our workers are courteous and friendly. Rarely do you hear them complaining. They are also dependable. My employees show up for work on time, are seldom absent, and do what I ask them to do. For example, During the holidays I ask my staff to come in and with no problems they come in as asked. . One of the things I am most proud of is that we work as a team. We have great teamwork. If someone has to be out for sickness, then it is not hard to find someone to pick up the slack while he or she is absent. For instance, We provide food to those in need especially to the homeless shelters, and the storm survivors by working together. I cannot imagine a better group of people to

...Associate Level Material Appendix D Research Plan As part of your research plan, you must first draft a research question for your research paper that will guide the rest of your writing. A research question, which is more specific and focused than a general topic, is the question that your research paper will be answering. For example, if your general area of interest is social security, a possible research question might ask, “How can low-income families save more money if the United States had a reformed social security plan that includes personal retirement accounts?” As you develop a research question, keep in mind that you will need to research sources to support your topic. Do not pick a one-sided question that will limit your research. Instead, develop a research question that lends itself to further exploration and debate—a question you genuinely want to know the answer to. Try to pick a research question that is neither too broad (covering too much) or too narrow (covering too little). It should be broad enough to be discussed in a short research paper. Part 1: Complete the Research Plan |What is your general topic or area of interest? |Healthy eating | | | | | | ...

Research Proposal Issues in Third World Politics

...Analyze the root causes of food insecurity in the following two countries: Bangladesh and Niger.’ Food, water, clothing, education and shelter are the basic needs for all human being. As a citizen of world’s one of the poorest country, Bangladesh, I want to explore and understand the significance of famine and starvation and how it is related with food insecurity. The paper will also study the origin of food insecurity and investigate the causes. I have chosen to research on Bangladesh and Niger, two of the low-ranked on United Nation’s Human Development Index (HDI) countries. Hundreds of millions of people, concentrated toward children and elderly, are suffering due to famine and experts are expecting this number to grow if adequate measures are not taken to prevent it. Sub-Sahara African nations are mostly the victims of extreme cases of famine but other continents also have some impacts. For instance, South Asian countries heavily depend on monsoon rain that makes them vulnerable to crop failure. On the man-made side, government instability and policies also play a big role. The after effects of such event could also lead to economic failure of the population. Countries with uncontrolled population, for instance Bangladesh and India, also suffer from extreme form of malnutrition and hunger as it becomes day by day difficult to produce adequate food for local citizens. In such cases, government asks for foreign aid to stabilize the situation. When food security is concerned,...

...For this assignment, you will choose a topic, narrow it, research different points of view about it, and identify your audience in order to develop your angle on the topic. After looking at the list of topics below, which was shared in Week 1’s lecture, choose a topic in which you have more than just a passing interest. The best topic to choose is one which impacts you in some way. Having personal experience with the topic will probably lend some perspective on it and may get you closer to an angle on it. Also, sometimes research can be daunting, but if you have personal experience with the topic, or are even passionate about it, you will probably be more motivated to keep working when the “going gets tough.” Thus, while “interest” in a topic is important, mere interest will probably not sustain you through this project. You might ask yourself, “What is it about this topic that sparks my interest enough to write a ten page paper about it?” Once you choose the topic, please respond to the five questions below. Each of your responses should be approximately two paragraphs in length. This assignment will be graded using the Week 1 Assignment Rubric available in Doc Sharing. Education | Technology | Family | Health and Wellness | School Bullies | Multitasking and Technology | Sexualization of Girls | College Students and Weight Issues | No Child Left Behind Act/Race to the Top | Technology and Social Isolation | Gender Discrimination | Childhood Obesity...

I have a habit of buying and eating a lot of frozen foods, which includes frozen pizzas, beer battered fish filets, Mac and cheese, and garlic bread. I also cook some boxed dinners like hamburger or tuna helper to save time on cooking. In my daily diet there are usually not a lot of fruits and vegetables in my daily diet, unless there is some kind of tomato sauce or side’s corn or mixed vegetables. When I compared the three day analysis I found out that I do not have much of a pattern in my daily diet. Sometimes I eat a large amount of grain and other times I may eat the right amount of veggies. Americans all over America have become consumed by these advertisements and have become over weight due to their food selection at such restaurants. Researchers have thrived to develop a cause to such an increase in Americans that struggle with the problem of obesity.
