Entrepreneurs should think about the international market as “right of the bat”. We are planning to expand our business in Dubai as real estate market is growing there presently. Entrepreneurs should think about the international market as “right of the bat”. But before going internationally one should consider these following factors: Factor 1: Get company-wide commitment. Every employee should be a vital member of your international team, from the executive suite to customer service through engineering, purchasing, production and shipping. You're all in it for the long haul. Factor 2: Define your business plan for accessing global markets. An international business plan is important in order to define your company's present status and internal goals and commitment, but it's also necessary if you plan to measure your results. Factor 3: Determine how much you can afford to invest in your international expansion efforts. Will it be based on ten percent of your domestic business profits or on a pay-as-you-can-afford process? Factor 4: Plan at least a two-year lead-time for world market penetration. It takes time and patience to build a great, enduring global enterprise, so be patient and plan for the long haul. Factor 5: Build a website and implement your international plan sensibly...

If the values of the properties had been assessed properly and their future values not considered this fraud would not have taken place. The borrowers do not fit the average fraud perpetrator. The characteristics that make him difficult to detect are that these workers arrive on time at work and leave after office hours, they are perceived as diligent workers and so even the FBI does not suspect them. Further, most of the fraud perpetrators in the real estate business are a part of the management and are perceived to be very honest. This is why they are not suspected of fraud. The real estate workers had the opportunity to commit fraud. They fill up applications for mortgage loans and so have the opportunity to make false statements on loan applications. In addition, the real estate workers had the opportunity to hide the facts. They hid the factual value of the assets. Even if an asset did not exist they claimed that the asset existed. Marketing Plan: Philosophy of Style

...conversation that I was having with my boyfriend in earlier this month. I work for a real estate developer in Dallas and have recently become very interested in pursuing a career in the industry. One thing I have come to realize about business is that connections are everything. After realizing that I have formed many connections in the real estate industry, I hypothesized that there must be a way to provide services that could utilize these connections, enhancing business opportunities for both parties. When I began to share this idea with my boyfriend, we came up with the idea of “The Philosophy of Style,” a website that will feature all the amazing business associates that he and I have the opportunity to work with in Dallas. These individuals range from architects to builders, designers to developers, and even agents that list incredible homes in Dallas. My work is primarily in Uptown, Highland Park, and University Park. These neighborhoods are all top-dollar markets in Dallas with average home value is between $450K-$1M. This means that our clients (connections) are seeking top dollar customers. Philosophy of Style is designed to connect our clients with their ideal customers. The avenue we use to achieve this goal is our website: www.philosophyofstyle.com. Although the website is up and running, it is still very much in its infancy. Many elements of this paper serve as a plan for the future of Philosophy of Style. Not all the ideas have been implemented yet, but I believe...

Behavior Forces

...wanting to do better than their competition. In the real estate world competition is cut-throat, not only among other real estate companies, but amongst the real estate agents themselves. Real estate agents do not make money unless a real estate deal is closed. Due to this simple fact, competition is fierce. As far as my teammate’s organizations, Loren works for an Insurance Agency. There is a high level of competition within this realm of business. There are many insurance agencies, besides the one the Loren is employed by, so if her company does not do a good job or give a good insurance quote, the client can go down the street to another insurance agency. The organization that Jean is employed by is a non-profit organization. The competition within this realm might not be as severe as in a for-profit organization. Her organization has already expanded globally which aids in the decrease in competition. The economy affects our way of life and the way organizations conduct business. If the economy is doing well than businesses typically spend more money by hiring additional employees, paying higher salaries, purchasing additional equipment, or training their employees. On the other hand, if the economy is going poorly, companies do not hire more employees or purchase any additional equipment. Whether the organization is based on real estate, insurance, or helping the disabled the economy affects all types of businesses. In real estate when the economy is in a lull, individuals do...

Real Estate in Bangladesh

...ASA University Review, Vol. 4 No. 1, January–June, 2010 Housing Real Estate Sector in Bangladesh Present Status and Policies Implications Suborna Barua* Ali Haider Al Mamun Mridha** Rezwanul Huque Khan** Abstract The real estate sector is the growth centre for the development of an economy. Bangladesh, being one of the densely populated nations in the world, has been experiencing severe of houses shortage for its citizens. Although majority of the population is segmented into the middle and the low income groups, still housing for all 1has been a fallacy in Bangladesh. The private sector housing real estate developers have met a small proportion of the national housing demand in the last more than twenty years. The gap between demand and supply is still joy wide. Despite inadequate policy preparations, these real estate developers have been successfully making business although the middle and the low income households are still untapped. With the larger proportion of people living in this income group, the private housing real estate sector has a huge scope to grow in this country. The positive notion is supported by many key indicators such as increasing house rent, inadequate and costly land, easier financing availability and more. To pave the way for the organic development of the industry, the problem of long existent inadequate financing availability at lower burden of terms and costs must have to be removed immediately, and wider scope has to be created for Non-Resident...

Functions of Management Week One

...are planning, organizing, leading and controlling. Each of these functions helps the manager in a specific manner to aid in his managerial role. Many recommend following these four steps in order to achieve the success anticipated for future plans of the company. All four of these functions need to be given an equal amount of time as they are important elements in any organization field. For the sake of this paper will use the Real Estate profession for example. The Four Management Functions and how they relate to Real Estate: Planning Planning is the first tool of the four functions in the management process. The difference between a successful and unsuccessful manager lies within the planning procedure. Planning is the logical thinking through goals and making the decision as to what needs to be accomplished in order to reach the organizations’ objectives. Managers use this process to plan for the future, like a blueprint to foresee problems, decide on the actions to evade difficult issues and to beat the competition. (Bateman, Snell, 2009). Planning is the first step in management and is essential as it facilitates control, valuable in decision making and in the avoidance of business ruin. Any successful Real Estate company has a vision to lead the way to do it better than the next. Although realtors are independent contractors it is important that the company they have affiliated their name with are committed to their goals and strives for customer...
