The internet to be precise in its usage or application has brought a lot of dynamism in the music industry especially when it comes to the supply chain. Apart from the dynamism it is simultaneously and gradually replacing the traditional supply chain of the music retail supply change. Thus, the supply chain is now two faced where the traditional supply chain is still working although it has become unpopular and also the new addition which is the internet retail supply chain. This is a global phenomenon and the Ghanaian music industry has not been alienated from this major change. This study aims at identifying the main actors of the internet retail supply chain of music in Ghana not excluding their roles. It is equally aimed at identifying the risks associated with the internet retailing supply chain of music in Ghana and as well as ethics, regulations encompassing internet retailing in the Ghanaian music industry. Qualitative research approach was adopted due to its ability to capture the real life within which events unfold contextually with the ability to study subjects in their natural settings. It has helped in establishing major strengths and weakness that characterize the Ghanaian internet retailing supply chain. The A& R scouts who are part of established Record Labels search for new artiste by listening to demos, attending shows and events, contacting the press. If he finds an artiste that fits the roster of the label, he reports to the A&R manager. The manager has the duty of getting the Label convinced about the potentials of the artiste in question .Consensus is built and a decision is taken whether to sign artiste. Deal is negotiated with the artiste. The head of the A& R Department with top executives of the Record Label take decisions about new artistes. After artiste is signed, he begins his major role of creating content. Song writers and composers are engaged here especially when artiste mainly a performer and cannot create
