1. The Tanksalot Company is a subsidiary of the Goaway Corporation. The Tanksalot Company is embroiled in a lawsuit where the plaintiff is claiming that Tanksalot acted in a negligent manner. The plaintiff in this case wants to go after Goaway’s assets, in addition to the assets owned by Tanksalot. Both of the companies share payroll functions, legal departments, and accounting departments; yet, they have separate (but sometimes overlapping) executives in charge, customer support departments, and policies. At times, checks for one company have been deposited into the other company’s bank account and computer systems are shared.
Discuss whether you think the plaintiff would be successful in getting the court to agree to allow for the attachment of Goaway’s assets and why, or why not. What would you need to be shown for this request to be granted?

She had indeed gone to Bob’s office to use materials but it was with Bob’s permission in order to finish a rush project at home that was due the next day. There was no stealing, as the stranger was insinuating. Jessie was so upset and humiliated that she quit her job the very next day.
