In countries like Great Britain, which has strict gun control, the country has a very high miscellaneous crime rate due to even the law enforcement not carrying side arms (Kelley, 2012). Then countries like Switzerland where their gun laws are minimal, and their crimes are very low and they have access to guns (LaFollette, 2000).
