My current fitness habits are not the most consistent. I do exercise at least three times a week. I always take the stairs instead of escalators or elevators, but I could do much better. My diet is terrible although I do eat lots of greens. I work full time and most times the kids have games every night. This forces us to eat out often. I have recently started making better choices while eating out by ordering salads or avoiding greasy foods.

According to the CDC (2015) "People who are obese, compared to those with a normal or healthy weight, are at increased risk for many serious diseases and health conditions." High blood pressure, diabetes and gall bladder disease are just a few on a very long list. Another issue that can arise is not feeling energetic at all. This will hamper your quality of life. It could also lead to things like depression and anxiety. Stress can make you more irritable, interrupt your sleeping habits and can effect your overall well-being. Going a long time without treating stress can have some negative effects such as such as high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity and diabetes. It can cause you to overeat or turn to other sources of relaxation that are not healthy. Some habits I could develop which would improve my health would be getting up one half hour earlier every morning and exercising. Getting it done and out of the way would be something I would not have to try to make time for later. This could alleviate some scheduling and some time management issues. Fitness Magazine (2016) states, "In fact, research suggests that women who work out in the morning stick with their programs more successfully than those who don't." Another thing I could do would be to keep a workout bag in my car all the time. This would motivate
