College may cost a lot but throughout the years but it will help you earn a lot. Emily

Hanford talks about how college will help your education go above and beyond. She says

“In the 1960s, only 26% of middle class workers had any kind of education beyond high

school. Today, about 60% of all jobs in the U.S. economy require higher education”

(Hanford p.1).
++This quote is saying that in order to find a well paying job, you’re going to

need a good education. Having this better education will also help you process things

better. It will also help you work better and do certain things easier. This doesn’t mean that

not having a degree will get you a good job, because many workers who didn’t go to

College-educated people will not only earn more income, but they will earn better

earnings than people who don’t go to college. They will also be “more likely to get a better

health insurance and a better retirement benefits with their jobs, and will less likely to get

unemployed. People with degrees are more likely to be very satisfied with their jobs as

well. She says that people with a degree are more likely to read to their children, which will

help their children become better educated. It also helps their kids get prepared for when

school comes” (Hanford p.6). This doesn’t mean that a person who never went to college

won’t become very wealthy, this simply implies that a person who go to college will

find jobs with better money income easier since they are more educated than people that

haven’t gone to college.

College is a wonderful way of meeting new people, exploring the world, and getting

to find what you want to do in your life. Not only do you get to have fun and get to live life the

way you want to live your life, but you get to discover who you are and what you want to do.

Going to college will give you choices in life, and not only for your education.
