Hindsight Essay
A true friend is one who helps you when you are in crisis then the one who stays with you just for fun. You do not need friends to have fun as there are many activities to entertain you. We need friends to help us when we need them. A real friend will appear in proper time and will always be with you to enjoy the happy moments and console you during the sad moments of your life. Going through hardship together makes two friends bond stronger. A good friend is man’s precious possession. The real worth of people is known when we fall on bad days. Those who stand by us through thick and thin are real friends.
Previously I used to trust all my friends. I used to consider all of them my true friends. The company of my friends used to make me feel happy and this life worth living. I considered them as a blessing but it took me time to realize that it is important to choose your friends wisely and differentiate between your friends and your enemies. Not all your friends will help you and stand by your side when you will need them.
One day after school, I and my friend were walking back home. We both were busy talking that we didn’t realize we are passing through a desolate street full of dogs. There were 4 to 5 wild dogs that started following us. I saw them coming towards us, I asked my friend to run. My friend suggested that we both climb the tree. I told her I don’t know how to climb. She said then you go and find a way to escape from this danger, I will climb the tree. I was shocked and heartbroken. I didn’t know what to do; I wasn’t left with much energy to run faster. It was time to surrender. I saw a heap of bricks and stones. I picked up the bigger stones and threw them towards the dogs. They got scared and ran away. This trick was easy but never clicked to my mind when I saw the dogs running towards us. Probably that day I
