Hook’s Heroes Review

About Hook’s Heroes
This red hot new Net Entertainment video slot is loosely based on Peter Pan, or more specifically, Captain Hook. Hook’s Heroes is wonderfully designed, very cartoon like, and quite unlike any other pirate themed slots which are currently playable. Hook’s Heroes is also equipped with quite a few special features, which work wonders in helping you land decent cash in this game. Hook’s Heroes isn’t just good fun graphically, or from a special features perspective. It also carries a quality jackpot, as well as a decent wagering range.
Wagering
Speaking of wagers, how much will it cost to play? Hook’s Heroes allows you to choose coin values which range from a penny up to £1, and you can wager as many as 10 of these coins per line. You won’t be able to adjust the number of lines you play with (there are 20 spread over 5 reels) but that’s quite okay. A minimum bet in this game will set you back around about 20p a spin, whilst a maximum staked bet can cost you up to £200 per spin. …show more content…
Wilds are represented by Captain Hook. He will act as a typically boring wild icon, substituting himself for all other icons in the game, save for scatter icons.
Scatter icons are far more prosperous. Unlike some slots, players can still pocket a bit of a bonus with just two scatters. When two or more scatters appear anywhere on the screen, they will get one of the three bonus features randomly assigned to them, as well as a re-spin during which to use that feature.
However, if a player lands 3, 4 or 5 such scatter icons, then they will get to pick either 1, 2, or 3 of these very special bonus features to use during a free spins

..."great men", or heroes: highly influential individuals who, due to either their personal charisma, intelligence, wisdom, or Machiavellianism utilized their power in a way that had a decisive historical impact. The theory was popularized in the 1840s by Scottish writer Thomas Carlyle, and in 1860 Herbert Spencer formulated a decisive counter-argument that remained influential throughout the 20th century; Spencer said that such great men are the products of their societies, and that their actions would be impossible without the social conditions built before their lifetime.[1][2][3] |Contents | |[hide] | |1 Introduction | |2 Criticisms | |3 See also | |4 References | |5 External links | [pic][edit] Introduction Carlyle commented that "The history of the world is but the biography of great men," reflecting his belief that heroes shape history through both their personal attributes and divine inspiration.[4] In his book On Heroes, Hero-Worship and the Heroic in History, Carlyle set out how he saw history as having turned on the decisions of "heroes", giving detailed analysis of the influence of several such men (including Muhammad, Shakespeare, Luther, Rousseau, and Napoleon). Carlyle also felt that the study of great men was "profitable" to one's own heroic side; that by examining the lives led by such heroes, one could...

Kingdom Hearts Aside

...For six years, Kingdom Hearts fans have been waiting for the release of the third game in the series. And while the wait has been agonizing, Tetsuya Nomura has kept a steady stream of spin-offs and side stories coming in order to flesh out the history of this series. But in expanding upon the relatively simple stories of Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, things began to grow more and more complicated. Now, with six games in total making up the series, the plot is a near-labyrinthine mess of connections and revelations. It's confusing for long-time fans and near impenetrable for newcomers. In mere weeks, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance will be releasing on the 3DS and promises, according to Nomura, to lead directly into Kingdom Hearts 3. It's with that in mind that I have decided to unravel the plot of the entire series for those who may have missed the opportunity to play some of the spin-offs and those who just want a refresher before diving into the new game. I have also attempted to make this as inviting as I can for newcomers to the series who decide that they want to start with Dream Drop Distance. Be warned though that this timeline will spoil everything in the series so if you want to go in fresh, then it's probably a good idea to refer to this timeline later. With that introduction out of the way, let's begin… ------------------------------------------------- KINGDOM HEARTS: BIRTH BY SLEEP The story begins with a young boy named Ventus and an old man named Xehanort arriving...
