Homemade Blueberry Waffles
When I was a youngster I used to wait up for my mom to get home every night. She worked the night shift and always came home late, but it was fine with me. In fact it was more than fine; I loved every moment of it. For the simple fact that we had our own nightly ritual, of making homemade blueberry waffles. I always found the process looked so complicating and confusing when I was younger, maybe that's what kept me in intrigued and in love with it. Now that I'm older though, I make them almost every morning for breakfast and sometimes I still continue our ritual at night. Once I learned the process for myself, it was a cinch. I don't know why it ever seemed so difficult! That's how my love of waffles, especially the blueberry kind, came to be. So if you think homemade blueberry waffles is a pain to make, take it from a person who's been in your shoes before and discovered the real truth, because I once felt the same exact way. If you just follow these simple, quick, and easy instructions, then you too can see just how easy it is for you too to be eating delicious homemade blueberry waffles, even at night!
I believe waffles to be the most scrumptious of breakfast items, and an all-time favorite snack! I mean it’s like a pancake with a built in syrup trap! Can’t ask for much better than that! Plus, unlike other breakfast items that are difficult, complicated, time consuming, and costly to make. Waffles are yet, simple, easy, and quick to prepare without any of the left over messes that others tend to leave behind. With just 8 simple ingredients and 8 simple steps who can deny the simplicity of making homemade blueberry waffles? No one, that’s who and the reason for this is, is because it only requires 5-10 minutes, a few choice ingredients and waffle iron. Simple as that, nothing else required. Nevertheless, in case you don’t believe me I’ll explain it to you.
Homemade blueberry waffles require 8 simple ingredients. Which include 2 cups of flower, 2 eggs, ½ teaspoon of salt, ½ cup of melted butter, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1 ½ cup of milk and of course 1 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries. By just adding these simple items in the right measurements of course, to a mixture of delicious waffle batter which requires no strenuous work besides slight stirring, pouring, and frying of all the ingredients together. Then you will surely be on your way to a simple, quick, and easy blueberry waffle.
Once you have everything out and ready, which means all 8 ingredients and the 4 cooking utensils that are the mixing bowl, mixing tool, measuring cup, and don’t forget the waffle iron itself, unless you might have some difficulty. So, after everything is prepared to go, effortlessly just add the 8 ingredients to the mixing bowl in the required measurements and whip everything together until the batter appears creamy without any clumps. While doing this I would recommend preheating your waffle iron, so it’s ready when you’re done mixing. Also make sure to grease the iron so the waffles don’t stick! Then it’s just as straightforward as adding the batter to the waffle iron, and watching the miracles work. Once the timer goes off, the waffle iron will be done and everything is ready and good for eating.
Finally, after all is said and done, and of course eaten to! All that’s left to do is clean up. Now that I’ve lost the majority of my readers, I will explain to the few that are left why you should not panic when it comes to the cleaning. The reason for this is because there’s no mess! The only thing your must do is wash and rinse 4 little cooking utensils, that’s it! Now, you’re probably thinking what about the waffle iron? Well, it’s simple. There’s no reason to clean it! In fact it’s the complete opposite, and I’ll tell you why! If you have ever used, had, or own stoneware then you would know that you can’t wash them, because it absorbs the flavor and seasoning you cook on it. Therefore if you washed it, it would taste like soap because it absorbs the flavor! The same goes for the waffle iron! As long as you cook on it and never wash it, the tastier the waffles will get! Though it may seem like the seasoning sometimes develop a slight odor to them don’t worry it goes away as soon as you heat it up again. Thus, all that is left to do is wipe the counters and wash & rinse 4 dishes.
In the end blueberry waffles are as easy to make as following those 8 simple steps and combining those 8 simple ingredients. After following those few steps you too are now able to enjoy your freshly cooked homemade blueberry waffles, with energy to spare! With fresh blueberry waffles insight, you now come to the realization of how easily it can be done! Store bought waffles are a thing of the past! No one in their right minds would choose store bought over homemade waffles, especially in lesser, quicker, and cleaner steps! I mean it'd be foolish to even consider it, with this knowledge at hand!

Why You Should Eat Breakfast

...going to start out by asking you this. How many of you eat breakfast everyday? Well did you know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day? Many people skip this meal and in fact, it is shown that less than 40 percent of Americans eat breakfast every day. Most people have very busy schedules leaving them with little time to eat breakfast. However, you should try your best to eat a nutritious meal before you start your day. There are a number of reasons to why you should eat breakfast. I’m going to tell you about 5 of those. The first reason why breakfast is so important is because its gives you an energy boost to start your day. What our bodies need in the morning is a meal that includes each of the three macronutrients: protein, good fats and complex carbohydrates. Protein’s role is to provide sustainable energy. It takes longer to digest than carbohydrates, so it will hold you over until lunchtime. A good protein breakfast would be eggs. Fats are equally important, as long as you stick to good fats like olive oil. Use olive oil in the pan when you make eggs. Complex carbohydrates provide glucose, our body’s main source of energy. Glucose is the brain’s sole source of energy. That’s where you get your sharp attitude and quick wit. Also, our muscles lean on glucose for sustained energy. Good sources of complex carbs are whole-grain bread, waffles or cereal. The second reason why you should eat breakfast is because it makes you smarter. You are more likely to have...

Diet for the Brain

...This is my 4th post on the subject of enhancing my child memory I will be discussing about the importance of having a good dietary diet. You’ve probably heard that certain foods can help your memory improve, and will allow you to think with better clarity. “But what foods are actually considered brain foods?” you may ask. Believe it or not, there are a copious amount of foods that protect your brain, improving how good it’ll work, and can even generate new brain cells. Yes, you read it right… new brain cells! You can still generate new brain cells–even when you’re an adult. A common myth recently espoused that brain cells quit occurring once you’ve reached adulthood, but reputable and prolific new research has debunked this myth. Regardless of how old you are, you can make new brain cells. Keep in mind that all cells need nutrients to continue their growth. This means your brain needs foods that will give it the building blocks it needs to work right. When you have more neurons and connections within your brain, it means you have a stronger memory and your mind can work better. Keep your life’s memories alive longer, and sharper than ever, with these six foods that will help keep your brain whole and healthy: 1 – Build Your Brain: Healthy Fats The majority of the cell structure in the brain consists of healthy fats, including the most important healthy fats, called Omega-3 fatty acids. As the brain continues to fix itself and grow additional neurons...

The Ready- to- Eat Breakfast Cereal Industry in 1994 (a)

...undermine the dominant positions of the Big Three: Kellogg, General Mills, and Philip Morris. The 1993 year-end statistics showed that industry sales growth had slowed to under 2%, while private labels had topped 5% market share by sales and 9% by volume for the first time. Price increases by the Big Three had widened the gap between branded and private label products. The competitors had traditionally avoided destructive head-to-head competition, but this mutual restraint appeared to be crumbling. Each of the firms faced major decisions going forward about whether to break with the industry’s lock-step moves and how to deal with the threat of private labels. History of the RTE Breakfast Cereal Industry2 The ready-to-eat breakfast cereal industry got its start in 1894, when Dr. John Kellogg and his brother W.K. Kellogg invented wheat cereal flakes in an attempt to make whole grains appealing to the vegetarian clients of the Seventh-Day Adventist sanitarium Dr. Kellogg ran in Battle Creek, Michigan. 3 W.K. went on to invent the corn flake and to found the Kellogg Company, still the number one producer of ready-to-eat cereals in the world a hundred years later. Also in 1894, Henry D. Perky, founder of Perky's Shredded Wheat Company, promoted his cereal at the 1894 World's Fair in Boston with the claim that, "From the most abject physical wreck, I have succeeded, by the use of naturally organized 1 James B. Medicine

...And with good reason—while most people rarely think about them, these are the most dangerous of the hospital-acquired bugs that afflict one in ten patients in the United States. Their spread has helped to make contact with our health care system the fifth leading cause of death in this country. A few years ago, Shaw, an engineer by training, decided he wanted to do something to help solve this problem and quickly homed in on the mechanics of needle-less IV catheters. Rather than using needles to inject drugs into IV systems, most hospitals have moved to a new design, which involves screwing the threaded tip of a needle-less syringe into a specially designed port. The problem is that if the tip brushes against a nurse’s scrubs, or a counter, or the railing of a hospital bed, it can pick up bacteria. And the rugged threaded surface makes it difficult to get rid of the germs once they’re there. Often, the bacteria go straight into the patients’ bloodstream—which explains why, according to some studies, the rate of bloodstream infections is three times higher with needle-less systems than with their needle-based counterparts. After months of trial and error, Shaw hit on the idea of surrounding the tip of the syringe with six petal-like flanges, which could flare open to make way for the catheter port. Unlike some of the solutions floated by big medical device makers, such as coating the ports with silver, Shaw’s innovation added only a few pennies to the cost of production....

This type of training has successfully prepared almost every type of athlete imaginable, from Olympic weightlifters to soccer players. It works so well that it has been used continually for decades. I know that I am best known for my unique exercises and novel training programs, but sometimes you have to rely on the basics. That’s especially true when a basic program works as well a this one. Of course, I have taken the basic, but very effective program and tweaked it to perfect its effectiveness and to maximize the results you get. These results include greater strength, bigger muscles, and less body fat. PERIODIZATION WORKS... PERIOD! This program is based on the training concept called periodization. Periodization is the method of changing up your training at specified time points. The very first periodized scheme to be used with weights is called Linear Periodization (also known as Classc Periodization). That simply means that you start with light weight and high reps and as the program progresses the weights used get heavier and heavier and the reps completed per set get fewer and fewer. Most periodized programs take many months to complete. Many last anywhere from 4 to 12 months to complete the cycle. But...
