Traveling and Lodging

An outing at Cedar Point includes upscale transportation and lodging. The park will charter three VIP tour buses to pick up Chrysler’s R&D team and begin the two-hour journey to the park. These unique buses provide the employees with their own interactive TV screen that plays a variety of movies and shows. These TV screens also provide itineraries for the trip as well as an interactive map of the park. Past experience shows that team building begins during the bus ride because the individuals will start collaborating about what events they will do.
Upon arrival to Cedar Point, Chrysler’s R&D team will check into Hotel Breaker, which is conveniently located within the park. Hotel Breaker encourages team building with its large event rooms and fun atmosphere. Furthermore, there are no parking problems and the group gets to enter the park an hour early. Early admittance to the park will allow employees to interact with one another and have the park to themselves until it opens to the public. It also ensures that the group is brought together from the start of the day and that new bonds between employees are formed.

Purchasing Tickets and Speed Passes

Speed passes and all-access tickets will give Chrysler’s R&D group the most extensive access to the amenities and attractions of Cedar Point. All-access tickets grant admittance to the park as well as to exclusive events Cedar Point will be providing for Chrysler’s R&D group during the retreat. These tickets are perfect for Chrysler’s R&D team because it allows them to reserve seating at many events and restaurants. All access tickets will also ensure that employees sit together and mingle after enjoying the many attractions Cedar Point has to offer.
Speed passes are included in both the Gold and Platinum Packages. Speed passes allow individuals to skip long lines and immediately ride attractions. These passes are highly desired during the HalloWeekends at Cedar Point because the park offers more than ten haunted house attractions. The average wait time for each haunted house is 45 minutes. With speed passes, the team will be able to skip the lines and enjoy a variety of haunted attractions so that workers have more stories to share as they return to work.

Experiencing World-Renowned Attractions

Chrysler’s R&D department will enjoy the best roller coasters and attractions in the world. The Top Thrill Dragster, Millennium Force, and Gatekeeper are known for being some of the fastest and tallest roller coasters created. The unique diversity of attractions at Cedar Point is revealed in over 20 coasters that provide hours of entertainment. The exhilarating experiences employees will share on these rides will help facilitate fellowship in the workplace.
For team members who do not seek high-thrill attractions, the park offers a variety of low-thrill rides as well as performances featuring world-renowned singers, dancers, and acrobats. These performances allow the team to take a break from rides and enjoy a spectacular show. The unique events occur every hour, so the team has many options to choose from.

Exploring HalloWeekend Specials

During October, Cedar Point celebrates HalloWeekends by redecorating the park and providing Halloween specials to guests. Chrysler’s R&D team will feel united in the Halloween spirit, highlighting the team building experience. After 8:00 p.m., the park will open the themed attractions. While walking to these attractions, employees can get Halloween-themed food such as caramel apples and fresh kettle popcorn. HalloWeekend is provided at no extra cost and is the park’s way of encouraging group fun.

HalloWeekend features over 10 haunted house attractions. Each haunted house sends individual groups of five to six employees through unique mazes and has surprises around every corner. These attractions will ensure Chrysler’s R&D group has a memorable team building experience. For employees that prefer a relaxed evening, Hotel Breaker’s restaurant will stay open an extra hour just for Chrysler R&D employees. Whether enjoying the haunted houses or relaxing in the restaurant, the group will be able to interact and build relations with one another.
