My first basketball experience is a good memory, I remember when I first walked on the court. I was only five but for some reason I remember what happened, As I walked into the gym for my first practice I was scared. I didn’t know anybody and all the littler kids were screaming. I wanted to leave really bad because I was so nervous, since I was going to the school at the time I knew my way around a little bit. I ran away and I went down into the restrooms, I don’t know why I did because I was scared to be in there by myself more than to be up in the gym where everyone else was. I hid in a stall, and my dad came down the stairs to try to find me and he eventually did. He picked me up and took me back into the gym, he said we are not leaving until you participate in the practice. …show more content…
Megan and I clicked we were bestfriends after our first practice, Megan and I were the best kids on the court, well for being five we were. We were the only kids that could take the ball, actually dribble, and shoot from the foul, and three point shot area. But we didn’t shoot on the normal regulated hoops, we had JBA hoops that were a couple feet taller than us. After the practice was over I was sad, I didn't want it to stop. I was having so much fun with Megan and trying to play my best time flew by. The following weekend all the coaches were in the gym, and they were going to pick who they wanted. It was basically like a draft, there were 8 coaches and all of them were fighting over Megan and I. Megan ended up going on her dads team, and I ended up going to coach steve's team.
