How To Write A Reflection On The I-Side-With Survey

I took 4 political surveys which were supposed to predict the candidate that most closely fit my political views. The I-Side-With survey proposed that I was mostly Republican, and that I mostly supported Jeb Bush. The second time I took the survey, I got a different result. Then, the survey said I supported Donald Trump, which I don't! I partially agree with the first recommendation, Jeb Bush. The next survey I took was the political typology quiz, and it said I was a solid Liberal, which does not sound quite right. I would describe myself as a moderate. The last survey I took was the political ideology quiz, and it designated me a moderate. Now finally something I agree with! Overall, I think these surveys are good because they

The American Dream

...career. Today he is the governor of California. But there wasn’t anything given to him for free. According to this text, he had to work very hard to accomplish these achievements. In line 13 he writes that “Hard work and determination” was what it took for him to be successful. Schwarzenegger is very humble, when it comes to moving and adjusting to a new country, and he claims that it’s important that immigrants give something back, when they receive so much. Text no. 3 is an article from Yahoo! Finance. It has a much more negative/pessimistic point of view about the American Dream and the time we live in. Anya Kamenetz, the author of this article, supports her opinions on surveys and studies. For instance she found out that once people earn more than $50,000 a year, their level of happiness does not rise with the money they earn, as it should, according to the general idea of the American Dream (page 7, line 17). The last text is called “Is the American Dream still possible?”, and as the name of it indicates, it’s written with doubtfulness. David Wallechinsky, who’s the author of the text, is not sure whether the American Dream still exists, and claims that the average American is having trouble due to rising prices and lesser benefits. 2. Text 1, “What is the American dream?” explains how the term “The American Dream” was first used, what it means today and what it may turn into. The language in the text is refined and well-considered. For...

Cv Writing

...be in the pub with friends. If your CV is hard work to read: unclear, badly laid out and containing irrelevant information, they will just just move on to the next CV. Treat the selector like a child eating a meal. Chop your CV up into easily digestible morsels (bullets, short paragraphs and note form) and give it a clear logical layout, with just the relevant information to make it easy for the selector to read. If you do this, you will have a much greater chance of interview. An application form is designed to bring out the essential information and personal qualities that the employer requires and does not allow you to gloss over your weaker points as a CV does. In addition, the time needed to fill out these forms is seen as a reflection of your commitment to the career. There is no "one best way" to construct a CV; it is your document and can be structured as you wish within the basic framework below. It can be on paper or on-line or even on a T-shirt (a gimmicky approach that might work for "creative" jobs but not...

...history of systems development Systems development was seen in the earlier years as a predominantly practical, technical process that led to a problem-solving philosophy accepted by computer professionals as a purely technical process aimed at solving problems which are defined in mostly technical terms. (Maguire, 2000:232-236) Agile Development The philosophy of agile development The philosophy of agile is defined in a Manifesto. In this Manifesto the values are outlined that should be in agile development. These values state that individuals and their interactions must be more important than processes and tools. First, I would like to start with my favorite project of the year; the CSW presentation. I found this particular assignment the most helpful for the reflection interaction portion of the course outcomes. This specific assignment was very helpful in practicing that concept due to it being exactly what it say’s “interaction portion”. How Does Contemporary ‘Post-Feminism’ or ‘Third Wave Feminism’ Contribute to the Furtherance of Women’s Rights and Gender Equality? Research and Discuss.

...How does contemporary ‘post-feminism’ or ‘third wave feminism’ contribute to the furtherance of women’s rights and gender equality? Research and discuss There is a good deal of controversy over the role of so-called Third Wave feminism in the quest for gender equality. Third Wave feminism emerged in the late 1980’s and 1990’s among a cohort of women who had grown up taking for granted the gains made in the first wave of feminism (suffrage) and the second wave (the 1970’s emergence of feminist activism) (Arneil, 1999; Henry, 2004). These are young women who experience feminism almost like “’flouride. We scarcely notice that we have it—it’s simply in the water” (Henry, 2004: 70, quoting Baumgardner and Richards). The controversy stems not so much from their tacit reliance on previous gains, but on the focus of Third Wave feminism, which is undeniably on self-expression, freedom of experience, and sexual flexibility. Henry (2004) writes about the American television series Sex and the City as emblematic of Third Wave feminist sensibilities. This might be a bitter pill to swallow for those who identify feminism with more stalwart causes, including combating idealised and sexualised images of women in the media and embracing women’s diversity. After all, the four heroines of Sex and the City are all white, wealthy, thin, glamorous, obsessed with fashion and arguably obsessed with men. Nevertheless there are story lines and sensibilities in Sex and the City which reveal feminist...

Learning Organizations

...individuals to create learning to improve an individual and the institution as a whole (Calvert, Mobley, Marshall, 1994). This, of course, is a basic definition, and as the literature is explored, the reader quickly learns that learning organizations are as varied and diverse as the institutions within which they exist. The literature concerning learning organizations is also varied and diverse; ranging from simple, clear, and concise books and article to very detailed, in-depth, complex, and rigorous academic studies. Although the literature is exhaustive and at times overwhelming, by organizing the literature into common core areas, a reader can efficiently and effectively learn all there is to know about the learning organization, how to create a learning organization, and maintaining a successful learning organization. By thoroughly examining the literature in these three areas, an individual or institution will be able to thoroughly understand the entire scope of learning organizations. The common core areas that the majority of learning organization literature can be categorized into are foundation/founders of the concept, turning the theory into strong foundations, and learning organization application and evaluation. Foundation/Founders of the Concept By beginning with the literature that introduced and defined the concept of what a...
