I would like to discuss about FIFA, which is international federation of association football. FIFA is the governing body of association football. Actually, FIFA does not control the rules of football. It is responsible for both the organization of tournaments like World Cup and their promotion, which generate revenue from sponsorship. In recent years, there are incessant corruption cases in FIFA. The news is not welcome for me, as a soccer fanatic. I start to play soccer when I was 7 years old, and I was in high school and university soccer team in China. I concerned about every World Cup games, the World Cup year is celebration year for me. Any way, corruption leads to many risks about FIFA.

How does this unethical behavior affect FIFA?
The unethical behaviors affect FIFA negatively. Corruption cases about FIFA would lead to ruin their reputation around the world. FIFA is the world largest football organization and everybody knows it. Corruption cases will cause people to not want to give to the organization or take part in the World Cup in the future because of unethical behavior taking place. Also, these negative views of FIFA may result in lack of support from viewers and fans, especially sponsors. FIFA has been supported by business model that sponsor is at the core. However, with the tendency of sponsors’ withdrawal, this model is likely to be shaken. Actually, the biggest partners that are Emirates and Continental AG have already terminated relationships with FIFA. It is a fact that sponsors of FIFA are diminishing. Also, because reputation of FIFA has deteriorated, the effect of publicity on the tournaments that are organized by FIFA will fall. Which means television rights fees and television advertising revenue will fall. It is big problem for FIFA because television rights fees and television advertising revenue are the biggest part of revenue.

...Human Behavior and the Environment Terry Miller PSY 460 June 9, 2014 Human Behavior and the Environment The environment is a recipient of the behavior of humans. This behavior can be positive, as in the case of green fuel alternatives or negative, as in the case of noise pollution. However, human behavior is not always simple when determining the source. Many points of input are present, one of them being environmental cues. “Cues are elements in the environment that convey important information or trigger an affective reaction” (Steg, 2013, p. 120). How a human responds and impacts the environment is determined by the cues and the message they convey. Environmental Cues and Behavior “Sentences, words, and visual images are environmental cues that can affect the behavior of individuals (Charles-Sire, Guéguen, Pascual, & Meineri, 2012, p. 457). The presence of environmental cues is constant and therefore shapes human behavior in positive, as well as negative ways. Social norms and laws or rules are reinforced or weakened as a result of environmental cues. For example, a fabric rail queue line at the bank is meant to control the line and spread the customers for quicker service. Some individuals adhere to this cue regardless of the abundance or lack of customers while others adhere only if no way around it is found. Cues can be as basic as signs warning to not litter or as involved as public service announcements and social media campaigns. Behavior Modification ...

The resumes attachments to applications for a single job opening that was advertised in a newspaper a few days ago. The position vacant is for an encoder. Gloria, still single, was hired by the company and is currently the recruitment supervisor in the human resources department. The resumes of applicants on her desk indicate her most recent assignment. She was ordered to analyze them and prepare a shortlist of ten names who will be interviewed by the committee headed by the manager of the human resources department. Gloria took a good look at the requirements for the vacant position which consist of the following: 21-26 years old, graduate of B.S. in Computer Science, and a resident of Manila. Gloria found out that thirty of the applicants did not meet the requirements, so their applications were set aside. Still, Gloria needs to eliminate ten more. She was in a quandary and she could not make up her mind on who would be eliminated. As Gloria was shuffling the resumes, she noticed one with a name similar to her ex-boyfriend’s. She said to herself “I don’t want to work with someone who has this name,” and she took out the resume and set it aside. She has nine more names to go. Next, she noticed that five applicants graduated from the university where his boyfriend is an alumnus. She set...

Human Behavior

...Human behavior refers to the range of behaviors exhibited by humans and which are influenced by culture, attitudes, emotions, values, ethics, authority, rapport, hypnosis, persuasion, coercion and/or genetics. The behavior of people (and other organisms or even mechanisms) falls within a range with some behavior being common, some unusual, some acceptable, and some outside acceptable limits. In sociology, behavior in general is considered as having no meaning, being not directed at other people, and thus is the most basic human action. Behavior in this general sense should not be mistaken with social behavior, which is a more advanced action, as social behavior is behavior specifically directed at other people. The acceptability of behavior is evaluated relative to social norms and regulated by various means of social control. The behavior of humans is studied by the academic disciplines of psychiatry, psychology, social work, sociology, economics, and anthropology. Human behaviour is experienced throughout an individual’s entire lifetime. It includes the way they act based on different factors such as genetics, social norms, core faith, and attitude. Behaviour is impacted by certain traits each individual has. The traits vary from person to person and can produce different actions or behaviour from each person. Social norms also impact behaviour. Humans are expected to follow certain rules in society, which conditions the way people behave. There are certain behaviours that...

Human Behavior

...Human behavior in an organization determines the quality of work, progress and success of the organization. No machine and no computer can work by itself. No product is developed and manufactured by itself. It's the workforce or rather the human resources of an organization who develop ideas, create new products and services and then deliver them to the markets. Thus, it is important for the management of an organization to analyze the behavior of its entire work force. Human performance consulting is in vogue today, thanks to the greater emphasis on the psychology of the people behind the desk. Human Behavior In Organization Every organization differs from the other with respect to its policies, work environment, recruitment process, job evaluation and culture. The most natural human tendency is to react positively and with great intensity where they are compensated well, encouraged well and get additional perks and holidays. In no way is it being suggested that an organization should overpay its staff. However, it must be kept in mind that the organization must treat its work force with immense dignity and respect and provide sufficient compensation. Even make the cleaning staff in your organization feel special and encourage them to do their task in the best possible way! The work force must be treated as an asset, not a liability, and once this is done you will notice remarkable change in the collective human behavior. Apart from the internal environment of the office,...

Human Behavior in Organization

...“Some people have suggested that understanding human behavior is the single most important requirement for managerial success.” Understanding human behavior, while one of the vital components of successfully managing an organization, is not the single most important requirement for managerial success. While it leads to better relationships, better collaboration among staff and other people in the organization, building a team that breeds creativity and productivity, there are other variables within and outside the organization that every manager must be technically equip to deal with. One of the most critical components of course is knowledge and technical skills in planning, organizing and controlling. Managers will be dealing with external factors like market trends, market competition, maintaining and expanding market niche, and even after sales and service issues. Simultaneously, managers will also deal with product designs and quality, cost efficiencies and other financial aspects, productivity, among other things, all requiring great deal of knowledge to make informed decisions. These complex decision areas are consequential to an organization’s success, becoming imperative on managers to possess profound understanding and knowledge of how the whole process works in order to effectively discharge their functions and manage the expectations of customers and achieve the organization’s objectives. Another component and equally critical in managerial success is the...

...Human Behavior It is stated by the Webster Dictionary (1983) that the human behavior is the set of activities demonstrated by persons and prejudiced by traditions, feelings, sensations, ideals, beliefs, ability, understanding, hypnosis, opinion, compulsion, and/or heredity. I think that a person’s behavior impact their work. For one, usually functioning with a number of people while on the workplace that have unlike behaviors is not simple but never impossible. So there are characteristically concerns as well as conflicts while you have a number of people functioning in a similar atmosphere with unlike human behaviors. As an organizer in job surroundings, you have to cooperate with your supporters, nobles, leaders and others who you require in command to achieve the target of the business. Perception and Conflict Human beings are constantly creating inspections in the whole day. Inspection can be an excellent or terrible thing. Inspection can as well be recognized as our observation of an individual, position or conditions. We also know that we must not criticize a person when we first meet them; however, so far we do it anyhow. These observations you have on other person can proceed into work position and found some major conflicts with other workmates. While you begin to contribute to your feelings and opinions with other workmates you are breaching a gate for others to pay out conversation and cause a drama in the work place. Several persons...

...ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR ACROSS CULTURES Conditions affecting multinational operations The people of the world are organized into communities and nations, each in its own way according to its resources and cultural heritage. Some nations are economically developed others are just now developing their natural and human resources. The conditions of work are different because of different attitudes, values, and expectations from participants. Understanding these differences and how they influence international organizational behavior is aided by examination of key social, legal, ethical, political, and economic conditions. • Social Conditions In many countries the social condition is poorly developed, there are major shortages of managerial personnel, scientists and technicians and these deficiencies limit the ability to employ local labor. Ms. Cruz should have exerted more effort to prove to the management of her capabilities as a social worker. Considering that Ms. Cruz is new in the department, maybe the reason why she acted or behave that way because she did not feel the urgency or importance of her role as a social worker especially in times of disaster response. Based on the above situation, it is improper for Mr. Santos to compare Ms. Cruz with the rest of employees who were able to perform their job well. The Effects of Music on Human Behavior and Health

...Music on Human Behavior and Health Music is an appearance of craftsmanship and art which has ran as an inseparable unit with humanity since the beginning of our time. Music has been changed progressively from generation to generation. Music has changed but the meaning and effect on people has not. "Much of the current research in music therapy focuses on proving that music has measurable physiological and psychological effects. Such effects are not difficult to find or to measure, and are revealed by studies of human, animal, and plant behavior, EEG recordings, hormone assays, and cellular growth patterns" (Health Benefits of Music and Sound). Analysts have shown that very similar, if not the same results, can occur in human health today. Music help is a renowned worldwide benefit for treating mental issues. So what are the positive effects of music on human behavior and human health? Music can lessen the dangerous risks of heart attacks and strokes. Music has even been found to lower blood pressure.
