HR refers to the human resources that are working in the organization; they are the key element of any business. Human resources should function in conformity with the strategies that the organization has made up. In order to be the strategic partner with the business, the HR has to increase its productivity thus increase the organization’s profitability on the whole. The HR has to keep itself aware of the changing world and bring pro- activeness in its approach. The arrangement brings a thread of synergy in the organization and the employees are benefitted from it.
The strategic partnership of HR with the business helps the employee to have clarity of their goals, enhancement in their knowledge and skills and give them a chance to outperform with the advanced capabilities.The employees feel motivated as they are involved in the organization’s decisions in the form of participative approach. The successful HR management is required to attain strategic goals and for this HR competency is required.
For aligning the HR goal and the strategic management faces a lot of changes will be required within the organizationsuch as development of leadership, recruitment and training of the employees etc. All these changes will require the support of the employees, but they resist changes. Thus creating a challenge for the strategies, if HR does not make this a priority and instead remains a purely task-oriented department mostly administrative in nature it will not lead to success. As satisfaction of the employees can only lead to satisfaction of customers by providing them quality products.
