Hydra vs. Polyphemus Battle of the Beasts

The Hydra and Polyphemus, two famous Greek monsters. The hydra is a nine-headed, serpent-like, beast. Polyphemus is a giant, one-eyed, cyclops that lives on an island and acts as a shepherd. Polyphemus was also a son of Poseidon.

The Hydra has nine heads, while Polyphemus, only has one. Polyphemus is a giant humanoid, but the Hydra is a serpent-like monster. The Hydra lives in a swamp, however Polyphemus lives on an island in a cave. Odysseus defeated Polyphemus, on the other hand Hercules defeated the Hydra.
