Based on the box and whisker plot comparing the points earned by both Manchester United and Chelsea FC over the last twenty-five seasons, we can notice that Manchester United usually earns more points than Chelsea per season. Chelsea has lower quartiles and median values than Manchester United does, and this is due to fewer points earned per season. Although, Chelsea FC has a higher maximum value, you can clearly see by observing the box and whisker plot that Manchester United most likely result in higher point values per season than Chelsea.

Based on the back-to-back stem and leaf plot comparing the two teams’ point values, we can observe that Manchester United’s data is left-skewed, resulting from a large concentration of high data values on the right side of the plot. The shape of Chelsea FC’s data is fairly symmetrical, with data values on the lower and higher ends, but ultimately concentrated in the middle of the two extremes. Comparing the two graphs’ shapes, one can notice the Manchester United has a higher concentration of large point values than Chelsea does. This isn’t the only thing that provides evidence of the higher point values for Manchester. Since both graphs do not have outliers, the values center would be a valid piece of information to compare the two data sets. Manchester United has a center of eighty-two while Chelsea has a center of sixty-seven. A higher center for Manchester tells us that there are higher
