Strengths:
I linked my warm up to the lesson that I had planned for my pupils, I had to make sure that I related them to Football as that was my lesson plan. I made my pupils use the passing skills that I taught them in the drills and made them use them in the games they played. I was able to cope with nonsense from pupils and I could successfully tell them off and put them back on track and make them concentrate in the lesson. Lastly at the end I did a very good thing that a professional teacher would do, what I did was call all the pupils back at the end of the lesson and talked to them about whether or not they learnt anything and whether or not they enjoyed the lesson that I put in place for them. There was one student that really was getting tired, so I really had to get it back into him that that was a PE lesson, I really encouraged him and he was then playing very happily for the rest of the lesson.

Areas of improvement and how to improve:

At one point in the lesson I had put my hands in my pockets which didn’t make me look very professional, I could have moved around more and this would have made me avoid putting my hands in my pockets. I should have timed the drills accurately to the times I set in my lesson plan, this would have made my lesson more organised and more professional. Whilst I was correcting the pupils whilst they were doing the drills I should have communicated to them by using their names instead of shouting, next time I teach I will use pupils names as it is more polite and is more like being a teacher. I should have been more confident when I was teaching, what I mean by this is that I should have moved around more and boost my vocals more. Lastly at the end of the lesson I should have talked to the students individually about
