The culturagram allows me to better the Lins client’s strengths. The culturagram also helps to connect and have a better understanding of the Lins demographics. Overall to have a better understanding of who Lin is. Once the social worker understands the client’s demographics the social worker can better assist the client with coming a treatment plan.

As a social worker I will need to apply the knowledge and awareness that the client may be different in ways such as religion, culture, and values. That being said because once I am able to draw awareness of Lin through her religion, culture, and values I will be able to look with an open mind though cultural competence.
