The Importance of Respect

Respect is an incredibly important aspect in our culture today. All people, because of their dignity, regardless of their creed, nationality, or race deserves respect. These people may include elders, teachers, yourself, and many others. In my opinion, people in our society do not respect each other enough. Some people do not even have the slightest regard for others and vandalize their property.

The environment is just one of the many things that deserves our respect. There are multiple things that must be done in order to keep the environment clean and thriving. To do this waste must be disposed of properly. We appreciate the environment by striving to maintain a healthy ecosystem.

Teachers spend practically their whole day, or at least a large portion of it, teaching. If not that, they will probably be grading assignments and or tests. Being a teacher is a hard job which entails a lot of sacrifices. They deserve to be respected so that they know that we appreciate them and the time they give to us each day, giving their students the opportunity to learn and grow. There are many individuals who sacrifice themselves for the greater good. They deserve to be respected. By this, I think of the people in the military. Protecting us and our country is their job. They risk their lives on a daily basis and many Americans don’t really think of them and what they do to keep us safe. We owe the men and women of the Armed Forces our respect and admiration.

The world is very diverse. It is made up of many peoples and various cultures. Just because people are different , they still , however, deserve to be respected. How people worship and who they worship need People in different countries and cultures may have a d way of worshiping and maybe somebody else they worship that may be new to you. It is necessary to respect that. They may also eat unique dishes of food that you may not be used to. Many people take pride in what they cook and it would be very offensive to them if someone were to insult their cooking or what they are serving.
