Final Project Overview and Timeline

Final Project Overview

In the final project, you assume the role of a wireless network consultant working for a company called Apex Designs. You must present Apex Designs with a plan that outlines how you intend to design their wireless network. The plan must be based on the recommended steps for designing a WLAN, outlined in the following bulleted list. In addition to the design of the network, Apex Designs has asked that you provide a basic wireless security policy. To that end, your plan must consist of the following elements:

• Deployment scenario • IEEE wireless network type • Access point management • Location of wireless devices • Wireless security policy

Final Project Timeline

Budget your time wisely and work on your project throughout the course. Some of the discussion questions, CheckPoints, and assignments in the course will assist you in creating your final project. If you complete your course activities and use the feedback provided by the instructor, you will be on the right track to complete your project successfully.

□ Suggested in Week One: Read the Final Project Overview and Timeline in Appendix A. Review Appendix I and Appendix J.

□ Suggested in Week Three: Begin to identify the hardware components that your network may use based on the list of components compiled in the Wireless Network Components assignment. You will not be able to finalize this list until you select the floor plan on which your network will be based. Research the cost of each component from the Wireless Network Components assignment or another approved resource.

□ Suggested in Week Five: Select the floor plan from Appendix I that you will use in your final project. Complete the Network Performance Impediment Report in Appendix J. Use the information you gathered from the Floor Plan Site Survey assignment when selecting a floor plan and completing the report. Finalize the list of hardware components that your network will use.

□ Suggested in Week Six: Using the final project scenario provided in the syllabus, select the deployment scenario that your network will use. Use the feedback provided by your instructor on the Placing Access Points CheckPoint to place the access points, switches, and cables on the floor plan you selected in Appendix I.

□ Suggested in Week Eight: Complete the Wireless Security Policy in Appendix J. Make sure all elements of your plan in Appendix I are complete. Consider asking a classmate, family member, or friend to review the rough draft of your plan.

□ Due in Week Nine: Revise your rough draft using the feedback from the person who reviewed your plan. Edit the plan for grammar, spelling, and mechanics. Submit your final project.

...This paperwork contains ENG 125 Week 5 Final Paper Linguistics - English Final paper In this course we have explored the many meanings which literature may have for us as well as literary themes, elements, and techniques common to the forms of the short story, poetry, and drama. In class discussions and written assignments, you have also had opportunities to reflect on your individual feelings, responses, and ideas about a number of literary works. The Final Paper is intended as an exercise in bringing together, or synthesizing, your reflections on literature and your understandings of the course material. This is a comparative paper which analyzes two to three literary works from the course readings which share a common theme. The paper should be organized by a thesis (argument), which is the main point of the entire essay. When developing a thesis for a comparative paper, consider how a comparison of the works provides deeper insight into the topic of your paper. In other words, think about why you have chosen to look at these particular works in relation to one another. In your analysis, also consider the relationships among content, form, and style. For example, how are the ways in which themes and ideas are represented and communicated relevant to your reading experience and to the work as a whole? You may choose from any of the topics and works listed at the end of this assignment description. (Please note that many of the listed themes relate to more than...

...Reflective Observation In our survey for the ethics and moral values subject, we are trying to find out how ethical behaviors or values have change from their prior generations to current generations. Anna interviewed two people in her company, “Enbridge Pipeline Inc”, she chose an employee that has been there for 50 years (Employee A) and another employee that has been in the workforce for less than 5 years (Employee B). When we interview both employees regarding question #7 (refer to Appendix 1), we found ethical behavior or value has change quite dramatically over time. Employee A is an accountant and when he start working, there was certain procedures they need to follow but not as strict as the standards implement today. He remembers their procedure to reconcile certain account was just by looking at the ending balance to make sure there was no huge number was recorded then no reconciliations were required. ...Table of Contents Company Overview and Analysis Objective 1 Assessing the Company’s Profits and Sales Growth 1-2 Assessing the Company’s Use of Assets 2-3 Determining Solvency and Liquidity 3-4 Matching Companies Exercise 5 Appendix 6-14 Company Overview and Analysis Objective SciTronics is a company that operates in the medical device industry; they sell to hospitals and other medical centers with the goal of manufacturing and supplying quality goods. Being in the medical market from 2005-2008, SciTronics has been forced to keep up with an ever-changing and highly competitive industry. For this reason I found it necessary to conduct an assessment of the company’s past and present performance. Our group’s objective was to assess the overall health and financial stability of SciTronics incorporated, to achieve this I implemented the Corporate Financial System Framework (See Appendix I) and calculated four groups of ratios: Profitability, Asset Management, Leverage and Liquidity. Assessing the Company’s Profits and Sales Growth First and foremost I looked at the company’s profitability ratios starting with sales growth from 2005-2008 (See Appendix D). Knowing how well the medical industry did during this period of time, it wasn’t a surprise to see that SciTronic’s sales growth had increased by 20.69 % compounded, increasing from $147,000,000 to $244,000,000. This number tells us that SciTronics was providing a quality...

Carburization Report

...carburization and decarburization on material properties is examined. Materials Needed: Carburized sample of 1080, fully annealed sample of 1090. Equipment Required: Vickers Microhardness Tester. Procedure: The primary steps used in this procedure include the following: 1. The viewer on the Microhardness Tester is used to make a visual measure of the carburized/decarburized layer in each sample. 2. Microhardness tests are conducted on each sample at 0.1mm intervals from the outer edge for 1.0mm, and then at 0.5mm intervals for an additional 3.0mm. A complete set of procedural steps is available in the Appendix section of this lab report. Theoretical Results: Throughout the process of any experiment, it is a necessity to understand the data that is gathered. Knowing this, a direct comparison between carburized and decarburized steel is necessary. Referring to the appendix section, Figure 1a displays the relationship between hardness of the material and the distance from the edge. It is apparent that the relationship between these two qualities is inversely proportional; meaning that as distance is increased, the hardness begins to decrease. However, when referring to Figure 1b, it holds true that an opposite trend occurs. When observing Figure 1b, one can see that with an increase in distance, an increase in hardness directly correlates as well. The visual layer of the carburization can be found from the graph by determining where the hardness drops off and remains at a constant...
