In business, it’s not about the last decade. It’s about the last 2-3 years. In the past few years, the rate of change in regards to technology has increased drastically. Businesses processes have evolved and made organizations far more efficient than they ever were. Along with that technology has opened lines of communication, enabling businesses to communicate and collaborate beyond limitations and boundaries. Collaboration and cooperation is going to be the future of business competitiveness, with companies becoming more innovative, more connected to people, and overall proactive in the "flattened" marketplace of today's high tech economy.

Militaries of paper-shuffling clerks have been released to present higher value-adding hobbies (or have been fired) by the placement of technologies such as workflow as airlines, financial services, and telecos are wholly dependent on IT for their core deal processing functions. On a more humble scale, individual users or company departments have utilized a collection of productivity instruments to enhance and enrich their presentations and working environments.
Technology is transforming change at its core, permitting firms to examine new thoughts at speeds and costs that were unimaginable even a decade ago. They can stick features on Web pages and notify in hours how clients respond. They can discern aftermath from in-store raises, or efforts to boost procedure productivity, nearly as quickly.
Change initiatives that took months and megabucks to coordinate and initiate, can be frequently commenced in seconds for cents. That makes change, the lifeblood of development, extra effectual and cheaper. Firms are able to have a far better idea as to how their clients behave and what they want.

This is very important as there will be a reduction in the price of bulk sugar. It is being recommended that Jamaica invest in a refinery. Jamaica currently imports 70 to 80 tonnes of refined sugar annually. If this venture is capitalized on then Jamaica will definitely remain a top sugar nation due to reasons like the fact that there is no refinery in the Caribbean hence Jamaica could become a regional market that absorbs about 300 tonnes of refined sugar annually. It was also established that a move into the by-products of sugar cane is crucial. The three year deal between Jamaica and British firm Tate and Lyle which allows for Jamaica to export 50 to 60 tonnes of sugar each crop year to them is in its second year.
