College is a foremost part of many people's life. So the choice of what type of college to attend is a big one. For many students their preeminent choice is a massive open online class or MOOC. But MOOC requires their students to have certain traits to get the best out of these classes. So after analyzing the three essays I was presented with, I have decided that the best candidate for MOOC is James Gregory, who transcribed “Chunky Peanut Butter”. I believe this because James is diligent, self-less, clever, and innovative. These are all important personas needed for MOOC.

In “Chunky Peanut Butter,” it states,” I work behind the scenes, holding it all together.” It also states, “I enthusiastically devote time to service projects through Junior Civitans that help the community.” These pieces of evidence demonstrate how diligent James is. She has overcome many struggles in her life. Although the qualities she possesses makes her unique, I think they are not well-suited for MOOC. James’ qualities surpass Mendoza’s, he is more open to change and has more self-esteem which is essential because MOOC is a whole different environment than regular college classes, so being well furnished to change is probably a good aspect. In Mendoza’s essay she mostly talks about what happened in the past and how she overcame it but she does not talk about the present and what she is doing now. So I wasn't able to get a impression of her personality.

In conclusion, I believe that James Gregory is best suited for MOOC because he possesses the vital personalities. He works hard, thinks about others, and is smart and creative.
