1.0 Introduction
1.1 About JCube
JCube is set to inject new excitement into the retail, dining and entertainment scene in Jurong East. Designed by Benoy, the award-winning firm behind ION Orchard, JCube boasts an iconic façade inspired by an ice cube. Like an ice cube, it is designed to reflect natural light by day and sparkle by night. With shops from Basement 1 to Level 4, JCube has a net lettable area of 210,000 square feet, and more than 90% of the mall has been pre-leased.
It will be home to Singapore’s first Olympic-size ice rink 460-seat gallery, the 60 by 30 metre rink is designed to host international events and competitions for sports like ice hockey, curling and speed skating. The first IMAX theatre in the suburbs and offer extended-hours dining options.
JCube will also be home to Singapore’s first Olympic-size ice rink, offering the only rink-side dining experience in Singapore, and the first IMAX cinema in the suburbs. It is owned by CapitaMall Trust and managed by CapitaMalls Asia.
Numerous brands making their debut at JCube include Japanese lifestyle store Francfranc, Italian F&B concept Capricciosa, Eat at Taipei and Nana’s Green Tea Café. Other highlights include skincare brand Laneige’s first stand alone concept store, Payless Shoesource and Misulo Children Arts Adventure. Restaurants opening their first outlets in the suburbs include Ginza Bairin, Chili’s and Itacho. Foodies will also get to enjoy Nando’s, Yamazaki Boulangerie and Kung Fu Paradise and Canton Paradise by the Paradise Group at JCube.

1.2 The Owner
CapitaMall Trust (CMT) is the first Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) listed on Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX-ST) in July 2002. CMT is also the largest REIT by market capitalisation and asset size in Singapore, with a market capitalisation and asset size of approximately S$5.7 billion and S$9.2 billion respectively as at 30 December 2011.
CMT owns and invests in quality income-producing assets which are used, or predominantly used, for retail purposes primarily in Singapore. As at 31 December 2011, CMT’s portfolio comprised a diverse list of more than 2,500 leases with local and international retailers and achieved an average committed occupancy of 94.8%. CMT’s portfolio comprises 16 quality retail properties which are strategically located in the suburban areas and downtown core of Singapore – Tampines Mall, Junction 8, Funan DigitaLife Mall, IMM Building, Plaza Singapura, Bugis Junction, Sembawang Shopping Centre, JCube, Hougang Plaza, Raffles City Singapore (40.0% interest), Lot One Shoppers’ Mall, Bukit Panjang Plaza (90 out of 91 strata lots), Rivervale Mall, The Atrium@Orchard, Clarke Quay and Bugis+.
In May 2011, CMT took a 30.0% stake in a joint venture to develop a prime land parcel at Jurong Gateway, marking its first foray into greenfield developments.
CMT also owns approximately 17.83% stake in CapitaRetail China Trust, the first China shopping mall REIT listed on the SGX-ST in December 2006, sponsored by CapitaMalls Asia Limited, one of Asia’s largest listed shopping mall owners, developers and managers.
CMT is managed by an external manager, CapitaMall Trust Management Limited, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CapitaMalls Asia Limited.

1.3 The Manager
CapitaMalls Asia Limited is one of the largest listed shopping mall developers, owners and managers in Asia by total property value of assets and geographic reach. CapitaMalls Asia has an integrated shopping mall business model encompassing retail real estate investment, development, mall operations, asset management and fund management capabilities. It has interests in and manages a pan-Asian portfolio of 100 shopping malls across 52 cities in the five countries of Singapore, China, Malaysia, Japan and India, with a total property value of approximately S$30.7 billion (HK$186.3 billion) and a total GFA of approximately 91.6 million sq ft.
Shopping malls in the portfolio include ION Orchard and Plaza Singapura – which are located in one of the world’s most famous shopping streets, Orchard Road – Raffles City Singapore and Clarke Quay in Singapore. Our landmark shopping malls in China are CapitaMall Crystal in Beijing, Hongkou Plaza in Shanghai and Raffles City Shanghai; and CapitaMall Jinniu in Chengdu. The portfolio also includes Gurney Plaza in Penang, Malaysia; Vivit Square in Tokyo, Japan; as well as Forum Value Mall in Bangalore, India.
CapitaMalls Asia’s principal business strategy is to invest in, develop and manage a diversified portfolio of real estate used primarily for retail purposes in Asia, and to strengthen its market position as a leading developer, owner and manager of shopping malls in Asia.

JCube operates from 10:00am to 10:00pm Daily.

3.1 The Rink

The Rink is the first and only Olympic-size ice rink in the country. With a 460 seat gallery and Singapore’s only rink-side dining experience, The Rink is equipped to host ice skating related sports competitions. The Rink hosts events and activities such as recreational ice skating, and international tournaments in ice hockey, figure skating, speed skating, and ice curling.

Skating aids are available for kids and adults, and Introductory Lessons offered for beginners. Skaters are able to enjoy exhilarating nights of dance tunes and flashing disco lights every Friday and Saturday night. They can also keep fit and pick up a fun new sport with the Learn to Skate programme for recreational skaters, advanced training, and school CCA.

The Rink offers introductory lessons for beginners and skating aids for rental to maximise beginner skating experience. The penguin skating aids are stable and safe, and encourage the correct skating stance as your kids practice their skating skills. Furthermore the new seal skating aids are launched for skaters who are too tall for the penguins but still need a little help practicing their glide. The new seal skating aids lend new skaters stability on the ice, and doubles as a fun push sled that little kids can ride.

The Rink offers rental skate boots imported from Italy. They are multi-purpose and are infused with heat-preserving material and an amalgamate of hardened steel figure blade. The skate boots are available in all sizes that will suit everyone's needs. Gloves and socks are also available for purchase.

The Rink also host several events such as School Trial Ice-Skating Session, DISCO NIGHT, SINGAPORE ICE HOCKEY LEAGUE FINALS, ISU World Development Trophy Singapore Short Track Speed Skating, Singapore National Figure Skating Championships & Competition 2013, 8th Annual Ice Hockey Tournament, and many more.

A thrilling 3D/4D Motion Simulation Roller Coaster, featuring 20 plus ride movies to choose from.

Shaw theatre is set to bring Hollywood blockbusters and quality entertainment. It features 7 halls, including a Digital IMAX® Theatre.

The IMAX Experience is recognised around the world as of the highest-quality and most immersive cinematic experience ever created. Movie fanatics were willing to wait two to three weeks for seats to the IMAX versions of major blockbusters like Transformers: Dark of the Moon and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 at Shaw Theatres LIDO IMAX! There is clearly a demand for more Digital IMAX Theatres. With Shaw Theatres JCube IMAX, fans can look forward to an easier wait, and an intimate yet awe-inspiring experience with.
