From crackers and chocolates to burgers and burritos, anything can happen in an ad. America it is a society compelled by consumption. This society it is obsessed with more, bigger and sex. The advertisement campaigns are a mirror for what it is happening in this society. Publicity such as the one use by Hardee’s Jr will be current and will set a standard from now on. The female model will keep showing and exposing her perfect fit body and she will eat that food with passion and lust. But it is up to us, to bring this issues to the light and decide once and for all that we are not paying attention to the superficiality and vanity on ads. The people need to take action and mentally evolve from the caveman side of the unconscious mind; this can sound almost laughable or impossible for many people. But we need to hang up on hope and stand strong, keeping the values the morals, and the positive rules and set limits. We can take actions such as limiting what kids watch on television or magazines or not paying attention to this kind of publicity. We have a long road ahead. This broken society is placing a big load on us every day. The challenge is here as parents, as women and as humans being. Decide always what it is best and do not settle to the negative influence of ads like the Hardee’s company is trying to shove into everybody’s

The media influences public opinion and thus has the ability to support or destroy these social change movements. In the 1970’s, the second wave feminist movement was attempting to create wide spread social change. Its leading organization, the National Organization for Women (NOW), was focused on dismantling workplace inequality, such as denial of access to better jobs and salary inequity, and protecting women’s rights, such as stopping domestic violence.
