In executing stage—A major portion of the project work take place. It is very important stage because it is the actual implementation phase. It will occur lots of problems that company need to change their project to solve it. This stage including: Status reports: In this case, it had lots of problem since the first airframe began. Boeing Company didn’t make particular status reports to clarify the reason and the time they need. Each department of company cannot coordinate, it may cause confusion and program delay. Changes and Control ( time , cost and specification) : At first, the project has suffered from multiple delays due to procurement, sub-assembly and among many other technical problems. After that, Boeing had 7 delays due to an in-fight fire on a Rolls-Royce engine during the testing phase. When the problem occurs, it is not in plan, so in this stage we need to make change. For example, we can change the technical section or supplier those who cannot support company as plan. Because of problems, Boeing has cost it billions of dollars in penalty fees and time. In this stage, Company need to control is everything in the plan, if not, they need to change or establish a solution.

In Closure stage- After the project in the end, some activities still need to perform. Project director need to confirm whether all the things have been delivered to the funders, all payments have been settle and all invoices have been paid.

Evaluation: In this case, although the airplane’s test fight was passed. In its maiden passenger service, the airplane occur problem. On January14, 2014, Boeing 787 jets made discovered smoke. It is very dangerous potential safety hazard. The research and development team of 787 need improve and solve the problem. They should review the output of the project, then make sure that will not happen.
