When the people visiting museum. The people not only can appreciate works of art at inside, but also in order to enjoy the atmosphere of inside, feelings of artistic parcels can make of my heart are related to flow with the pace of the exhibition. Therefore, the overall atmosphere of a good exhibition for the Museum and exhibits should be mutually harmonious.
In the present society, the Art Museum has become the representative of the country or city,It is the performance of the historical heritage of a country or city, the best representatives of the cultural enrichment.
The location of the Grand Rapids museum is a very smart place, situated in the center of the city downtown, next to Central Park, and convenient transportation. Every day there are vehicles coming and going through here, where most places, there are many people gathered in the park, this park as an oasis in the high-rise buildings into the same role, while the art museum is a Inn next to the oasis. The park and the art Museum become a financial landscape.
External
This museum’s architectural style is kind of modern building and irregular geometry shape. Three pillars support the top brushing of the museum at the front of the door, pick the top is very long, a good depth of space, people's visual concentration and the door. These three pillars unlike normal columns, they are very thin, and wanted to three walls. The use of such pillars of the facade of the museum is simple atmospheric. Columns in the building construction is a very important role it plays to support the roof, forming the role of the facade, columns often become the visual focus of the facade. Use this column not only played a supporting role, also played a beautiful role.
Modern architecture in the form of free, simple shapes, focus on functional, economic rationality, there is no decoration or a small amount of decorative features and a new style of the era. The design of this Art Museum is also very good that should be positive.
There is a restaurant at first floor. The wall is put some large glasses together, looking from the inside you can see the park. From outside of the windows is a small pool. The Reflective of the indoor floor and the view of the solution and as a whole.
The grey water is used by the reflecting pool and water wall in the pocket park next to the entrance, to irrigate plants and trees on the site, and for toilet flushing.
By reusing collected rainwater in this way,
GRAM estimates it will reduce its demand for city-treated water by 20%.
This reflects the principle of environmental protection of the museum. After the cognitive you realize not only on this side, and from other side this museum can improve environmental protection
Within the museum is open type. Couse we don’t have to consider the issue of sound insulation in the art Museum.
So walls in this museum are thin , it should be plaster wall, a good partition of the exhibition space.
Visitors through the stairs, platforms and bridges and go to each exhibition room. Staircase guardrail’s material is glass, not only transparent but also sturdy. The stairs are Turn back style to create a sense of space, can fully feel the layer of space traveled. The internal structure of the exhibition rooms are straight, I think that because it is more convenience to observation and management. If not, there will has too many obstacles to hinder their sight. Windows for the lobby are large glass. On The one hand, the room lit during the day and also saves a lot of electricity. On the other hand there may be some light pollution. The inside of Glass hanging curtains like yarn, perhaps in order to prevent the sun is too strong. In the museum most of the lighting is light. What is a other way to lighting the room?
There are two skylights in the third floor exhibition hall of the leftmost and rightmost. Although, there are curtains hanging on the windows. I think this is a very good design, can the introduction of indoor light, can bring the light introduce indoor. And only the top level in order can achieve such an effect, like a small attic

An architectural success or failure depends not only on his appearance, the building's core function is to control the sound of light and heat.
Form follows function is the soul of modern architecture.

...HUMAN CAPITAL (A Reflection Paper) Human capital is just one of an organization’s intangible assets. It is basically all of the competencies and commitment of the people within an organization i.e. their skills, experience, potential and capacity. Other examples of intangible assets include: brand, software, design, working methods and customer relationships. The human capital asset captures all the people oriented capabilities we need for a business to be successful. It’s important to remember, however, that individuals are only an asset insofar as they choose to invest their human capital in an organization. Some people find the term Human Capital somewhat mechanistic, but human capital is not about describing people as economic units, rather it is a way of viewing people as critical contributors to an organization’s success. This then throws the spotlight on how businesses invest in their human capital asset, in order for it to add value. For any commercial organization, this is an important component to understand. If a company understands how its human capital contributes to their business success, it can then be measured and managed more effectively. Human capital management is a reciprocal relationship between supply and demand: employees, contractors and consultants invest their own human capital into business enterprises and the business enterprises need to manage the supplier. Any organization interested in its performance will naturally ask how well they...

...Chapter 1 INTRODUCTION The world population is living, working, vacationing, increasingly mixing along the coasts, and standing on the front row of the greatest, most extraordinary, plastic waste tide ever faced. Washed out on the coasts in obvious and clearly visible form, the plastic pollution display obviously seen on the beaches is only the preface of the greater story that unfolded further away in the world’s oceans, yet mostly originating from where people stand: the land. In 2008, our global plastic consumption worldwide has been estimated at 260 million tons, and, according to a 2012 report by Global Industry Analysts, plastic consumption is to reach 297.5 million tons by 2015. Plastic is versatile, lightweight, flexible, moisture resistant, strong, and relatively inexpensive. Those are the attractive qualities that lead us, around the world, to such a voracious appetite and over-consumption of plastic goods. However, durable and very slow to degrade, plastic materials that are used in the production of so many products all, ultimately, become waste with staying power. Our tremendous attraction to plastic, coupled with an undeniable behavioral propensity of increasingly over-consuming, discarding, littering and thus polluting, has become a combination of lethal nature. Plastic bags are in use by consumers worldwide since the 1960’s, (Mc Kinley, 2010). These bags are sometimes called single-use bags, referring to carrying items from a store to a home. Open bags with...
