I. TITLE:

AMAZING RACE II: Leaders Edition

II. RATIONALE

The Communication Program Council will be having its AMAZING RACE II: Leaders Edition on September 24, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at JFH Grounds.

This is a team building activity that will focus on the AB Communication class presidents and other interested communication students. It is a game that will help them discover and enrich their leadership capabilities, as well as to bond with other participating students. The participants will experience how to be a leader and a follower while completing the race and enjoying the company of their group.

The facilitator will be the Communication Program Council that had experienced to lead students and had also underwent a team building workshop.

There will be no registration fee for those interested applicants, because the aim of this event is to unite communication students.

III. OBJECTIVES

To tap the leadership spirit of every communication students.

To uplift and build relationships and remove the boundaries between first year to fourth year.

IV. MECHANICS Every block must have at least five representatives, including their class presidents. There will be six groups to be formed for the game, and the memebers for each group will be picking randomly from the participating students. So there will be first year to fourth year students per group. Each team will start from different station, so that there will be no more than one group in one station. Each station will be facilitated by one or two council officer. Each station will have different games that will test the leadership skills of each group. After the group finishes a station, the officer-in-charge will give them the clue for their next station.

A RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO THE 1,200 BUDGET ALLOCATION FOR TEAM BUILDING PROJECT OF THE COMMUNICATION PROGRAM COUNCIL A.Y. 2014-2015 ON WEDNESDAY, September 24, 2014

Whereas, the Communication Program Council is the student body that directly handles AB Communication students;

Whereas, the Council is mandated to serve students under the department;

Whereas, CPC shall conduct different events that will promote Lasallian core values, LAYA and ELGA.

Whereas, part of the Communication Program Council’s Plan of Activities for 1st Semester, A.Y. 2014-2015 is the AMAZING RACE II: Leaders Edition.

Whereas, the project entitled AMAZING RACE II: Leaders Edition, aims to tap the leadership skills and unite communication students.

Whereas, after projecting the total expenses for the said event, the council will allocate an estimated budget of 1,200 for food and materials which, when used, shall be deducted from the Communication Program Council A.Y. 2014-2015 own trust fund and on the College of Liberal Arts and Communication trust fund.

Resolved, as it hereby resolved, that the Communication Program Council shall allocate 1,200 budget for AMAZING RACE II: Leaders Edition.
