Leaderships in Organization
As the company I am currently employed with continues to expand the plans for restructuring continue as well. I have been provided with an opportunity to pick a position that suits me as well as benefit the company in order to continue to make the company successful. My position with the company to date has been the Administrative Assistant to the Chief Scientific Officer.
The position that I have chosen is that of the Chief Office Manager (COM). This position typically reports to the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and are peers with the (COO) as well as other executive managers. In this position I would be responsible for providing leadership, coordination, management and overseeing administrative functions that relate to the company’s mission and vision for the future (Guzman, 1999-2013).
Chief office managers typically are corporate strategist with administrative control over an organization management functions. They are included in the brainstorming with other leaders within the company to coordinate and oversee policy development in accordance with strategic objectives. As the COM it will also be my responsibility to develop programs that contribute to the development of the company’s workforce as well as guide the development of human resource management programs and make recommendations on how to better align with the company corporate direction. The knowledge, skills and abilities will make me an effective
COM, will be a combination of technical expertise, business knowledge as well as the ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team setting (Guzman, 1999-2013).

The goals of the school are to maintain the proper education for its students. Rachel Carson provides the setting for my examination of various organizational theories. The theories under examination are McGregor’s Theory X and Theory Y and Weber’s Bureaucratic Theory. McGregor’s Theory X assumes that people are basically lazy and need to be coerced into performing effectively. I illustrated this by comparing the teachers to management (these are the individuals who give rewards and recognition to get students to work). The earliest records of security dealings in India are meager and obscure. The East India Company was the dominant institution in those days and business in its loan securities used to be transacted towards the close of the eighteenth century. By 1830's business on corporate stocks and shares in Bank and Cotton presses took place in Bombay. Though the trading list was broader in 1839, there were only half a dozen brokers recognized by banks and merchants during 1840 and 1850.
