Assessment of Student Leaning

...I gained a lot of learning and information about writing instructional objectives when our professor discussed about instructional objectives. I learned that writing your course goals and objectives are very significant because these will provide a lucid direction of what is expected from the students. The instructional objectives must clear and concise in a way that it used unnecessary words or extra information. Your objectives should be specific. As what I have learned, instructional objectives must include an action verb that specifies a learning outcome. Verbs in objectives must be measurable and observable. A complete instructional objective includes an observable behavior, an action verb specifying the learning outcomes, special conditions under which the behavior must be shown, and the performance level considered sufficient to demonstrate mastery. I have learned the difference between goals and objectives. Goals are broad and generalize statement. It is not observable and not specific while objectives are observable and specified. An instructional objective describes any special conditions in which the learning will take place. An observable learning outcome may take place at a particular time, in a particular place and also an instructional objective indicates how well the behavior is to be performed. As we go further in our discussion about instructional objectives, I have learned the Bloom’s Taxonomy as source of instructional objectives specifically the cognitive...

Behaviorism and Its Effect on the Understand of Leaning

...Abstract This paper summarize behaviorism and how it has affected the understanding of learning. It includes a brief history of the founding of behaviorism. The main component of behaviorism learn theory are explored. Pavlov, Watson and Skinners experiments are briefly discussed as well as how behaviorism develops new behaviors.   Behaviorism and Its Effect on the Understand of Leaning Behaviorism has many definitions but all have one thing in common, human behavior and actions. Behaviors and actions, not thoughts or emotions are what should be studied. Behaviorists believe that all behavior is learned. Behaviorists believe that all behavior can be unlearned and therefore replaced by corrected behaviors. A main idea to the behaviorist theory of learning is a reward for the correct behavior. The desired response must be rewarded in order for learning to take place. Ivan Pavlov (1849-1936) was the first behaviorist. Ivan Pavlov was studying how digestion works in mammals. He observed data about dogs and their digestive. He was studying what triggers dogs to salivate. The people who fed the dogs in the study wore lab coats. Pavlov noticed that the dogs would drool when they saw lab coats, even when they were not being fed. Classical conditioning was born from this observation. After Pavlov, the two crucial theorist were John B. Watson (1878-1958) and B. F. Skinner (1904-1990). Watson was influenced by Pavlov’s theory of classical conditioning and believed that conclusions...

These girls have also rummaged into a t-shirt drawer and decided that a t-shirt will be the choice dress of the night. The t-shirt barely covers the back of their hairy upper thighs. But hey, the mirror that they looked into before they left their house for the night said, “Girl, you look damn sexy”. Glittery makeup is acceptable when it is worn on the eyelids but when you have liberally powdered your entire upper body it is only accentuating the stretch marks. The majority of the women are extremely intoxicated and they are attempting to walk into the restaurant on eight inch high heels. They tend to resemble the leaning tower of Pisa because they are so drunk. The men. Most of the men that walk next to the creatures of the night have one arm firmly attached to their date’s ample rear and the other, (if they are not...

...COM10003 – Leaning and Communicating Online Assessment 1 – An exploration of the digital world My research topic in relation to exploring the digital world is on Breast Cancer. Breast Cancer is developed from breast tissues. Various signs of breast cancer include a lump in the breast, nipple discharge, a red scaly patch on the skin, or even a change in the shape of the breast. There are various risk factors involved in developing breast cancer such as lacking in physical exercise, over consumption of alcohol, taking hormone replacement therapies during menopause and of course, major contributing factor is the gene inheritance. I commenced my research on the above topic using the informational website Wikipedia. I have found Wikipedia has the most comprehensive amount of information on breast cancer. It has information on Signs and Symptoms of breast cancer and how it is detected. It consists of pictures of breast showing signs like red scaly patch on skin, inverted nipple which is also a sign of breast cancer and a lump on a breast which is the most common symptom in today’s world. There is also a mammographic picture of a normal breast and a breast with cancer. Wikipedia also has information on the life style, how excessive smoking and consumption of alcohol leads to breast cancer. I did not have the knowledge that being exposed to radiation or doing shift work could also lead to breast cancer until I read this information on Wikipedia. The site also consists...

...Organizational Performance Management Paper and Table Jessica Hare, Michael Jackson, Molly Sacco, and Natalie Shell HCA451 May 19, 2014 Lisa Kehlenbrink Organizational Performance Management Paper and Table Each organization provides a different type of services for consumers. Health Maintenance Organization, Emergency Medical Services and Cox Health systems work to provide health coverage for consumers and quality care for each consumer. HMO is a type of health care plan that consumers can chose for health coverage. Emergency Medical Services collaborates with teams to advance EMS systems. Cox Health systems provides a variety of services through their facilities. Cox health, like EMS, provides emergency treatment to patients. They also utilize the EMS for emergency patient transfers and admissions. Cox health also has to deal with HMOs and PPOs on a daily basis when treating patients and billing insurance companies. Cox Health is a good example of the other three organizations combined to provide excellence service to the consumers. The similarities and differences of HMOs and PPOs is first they are both networks. However, HMO allows one to choose a health care provider within the HMO network much like PPO. But, with PPO one can choose a primary care physician out of network as well. This is not so with HMO, one has to choose their PCP or Primary Care Physician within network. Another difference is one must have a referral from HMO to see a specialist but PPO a referral...

The List Price less the trade discount provided the Net List Price. We then compared the two prices to determine that Parma would save $3.87 if they purchase from supplier two. The team did not experience issues completing this question. Question Two The team did not have any issues with this question. The team was able to easily calculate the net decimal equivalent by first finding the complement of each of the discount rates for each supplier (20/10/5 and 18/12/7). To do this the team subtracts each of them from 100% (i.e. 100-.20=.80). After this we multiplied each of the complement to find the net decimal equivalent (i.e. .80*.90*.95=.684). Question Three After finding the net decimal equivalent in question two, the team was able to multiply that number by the Parama minimum supply purchase price of 300 by (1-the net decimal equivalent) to find the trade discount. The team had to place a formula under the nde cell so the template would calculate the correct trade discount. There were no further issues with this problem. Question Four ...

...Alden Solomon February 27, 2015 GS1145 “Techniques for adapting leaning style to leaning and working with technology” When it comes to leaning and working all people have their own techniques to understand what they’re learning or working on, and how they learn or work. When we begin to theorize about our Agent Rank affirming behaviors and what that means for Target Rank members, we move past the comfort of Inclusion. Inclusion skills...

...and creating new job opportunities. The profession of entrepreneurs focuses more on the mainstream management approach, which revolves around materialism. On the other hand, a different kind of entrepreneurship started around 1960s and it is social entrepreneurship. Social entrepreneurship does not focus on the mainstream management approach, but focuses on the multi-stream management theory and practice. The research paper aims to find out the preference of De La Salle University (DLSU) Entrepreneurship students towards entrepreneurship or social entrepreneurship. The gathered information was conducted through a quantitative surveying of forty-two (42) DLSU Entrepreneurship students. When she was finally there we decided we were going to play basketball with the mini ball and hoop we had attached to the door by the stairs. Once I had made a really hard shot and Tiana got excited and jumped up, while leaning on the railing and we heard a loud CRACK! She had split the bottom part of the railing and loosened one of the bars! My dad didn’t seem to hear so we kept whispering shhhhhhhhhh but somehow he heard us whispering to each other to be quiet.
