WHAT DID I DO
I attended a seminar held in Arcada about learning.
I took part in the seminar. The topic was about "WHAT DO WE DO TO LEARN” .
The seminar was interesting and everyone seemed to enjoy and involved. The room was full in the beginning but in the end so many people had left. Personally I feel that this was so wrong because if people had to attend the seminar then they had to stay until the end.
WHAT I LEARNT
I learn that you don’t trust one theory because this will make you lost. I strongly believe this is true because one theory could be challenging the other and it could be good source of knowledge.
Learning is relational, we learn through relationship for example through our parents, our peers and from any relationship that we make.
No one can be forced to learn, for learning to take place there must be willingness, so basically there should be cooperation between students and teachers.
Learning takes place by listening to the eyes, voice and body.
You cannot force people to change, this is because change should come from the victims own will.
An effective therapist supports the self help of clients; this means that the therapists should help clients and support them as they try to solve their problems. This also shows that learning is all about relationships.
Learning is also through experience. During the discussions quite a good number of the participants supported this is because everyone seemed to have learned something through experience. This is either through personal experience or through others experience. For example you can learn when you miss your direction and next time you know where you failed and don’t repeat the same mistake.
There is also activity based experience whereby people learn through experiment, and I support this because it’s easy to remember what you did than what you hear. So people learn easily by taking

When preparing for a test, I take notes, when completing a study guide, I refer back to my notes that I took to complete the study guide. While completing the study guide, I create flashcards to prepare for memorization and to further understand the test. Rhymes and songs have always been successful to me because it helps me with remembering the material. tudying reassures that when it’s time to take a test you’re going to be successful in completing the material. Note-Taking While reading the material, you’re able to take the time to stop and jot down notes; something like a little summary of the text you just read. Costing Methods Paper- Learning Deliverable

...Costing Methods Paper- Learning Deliverable Team A found that the best method to utilize in the case of cost methods is the absorption method. Although in both the absorption and variable costing method there are net income losses, the loss of revenue for the absorption costing method is far less than that of the variable costing method. By utilizing this method over the variable costing method, we find that Polk Company saves money and can recover from loss by providing a more accurate visual of the profit goals of the company while giving the company a higher net income. Benefits of the absorption method include still have an option to sell the items during another period if the products are not sold within the same accounting period. If a company uses absorption costing that is the only method they will have to use. Flexible budgeting can be implemented and molded around the loss to cover the company from any potential recurrences of that amount of loss in the next year. In contrast, benefits of variable costing methods include having a lower manufacturing cost per unit while ensuring that bills and expenses are taken care over a period of time. This results in a surplus shown if products are sold within that period (Kimmel, 2011). In terms of a competitor submitting lower bids for a product, the variable costing method net income is not affected with changes in production, therefore managers don't tend to make the mistake of overproducing. Attaining one’s ideal study habit is a long- way process. Mark Crilly (2000) said that “Successful students are able to balance social activities with good study habits.” A diversion from studies will alleviate stress and help prevent from becoming fatigued. He said that a student should make sure that he must take a break for an hour after studies to meet with friends, to play some cards, work out at the gym, or to gab with anew acquaintance.
