Learning Styles Paper Learning styles come in many different shapes and forms. Everyone has their own way of learning new things, just like I do myself. One may find it easier to have things explained to them in great detail, while another may learn best from visual aspects like diagrams and pictures. Each style is unique and works for others that best suits them in how they tend to acquire information. Forms like active, reflective, sensing, intuitive, visual, verbal, sequential and global are the different terms that describe how one may learn. Visual is mainly self explanatory meaning I tend to learn things easier with pictures, diagrams, films, etc. I remember best what I have seen in class, even though in most college classes there is not much for visual learning. Although there is little visual aspects in college, one just has to adapt to learn things new ways. Secondly is the sequential learning style. Sequential learners learn new material in steps, one after the other. For me it is easier to grip a problem by breaking it down into steps, doing one thing that leads to another to solve the entire thing. Global is the opposite of sequential meaning they tend to learn things in big jumps rather than one thing after another. Steps seem to make things easier on me than just jumping around material. I am very outgoing and love to do new things in life. All in all, I am very comfortable that the adventurer is my type. My wing the questioner, describes me to be very loyal in relationships and never to back down. It shows that I am willing to risk it all for just what I want in life. Also it shows that my arrows point to the asserter too, even though I am more toward the questioner. Both the asserter and the questioner are very remarkable personalities. Each describe what a person does differently from others or other personalities. Adventurer tends to be my strong suit though. Taking this Enneagram personality type questionnaire has shown me who my true personality is and how that affects my life. It goes along with exactly what I thought I was and am. It may be a little challenging at times to be an adventurer sometimes, but we take risks and have fun doing those risks. Nothing beats having a good time and making new choices and friends along the way of those lines. Even though being an adventurer may be hard to make other friends, we strive through and do what it takes to make the relationships work through out life.
