The neo-evolutionism is the result of efforts made by many researchers after World War II, to revise and correct evolutionary theories. A number of archaeological discoveries and parallels between the American and the Mesopotamian cultures in terms of development led to the failure advocating the theory of the elements of dissemination of the culture to another region or people (diffusionism) many ideas, unable to explain these differences.
