The Army has improved my life by helping me gain the confidence to be a better man, by providing programs to advance my education, and by having programs that helped me to mature. In the Army, I have gained the confidence to become a better man. I learned what discipline was while being exposed to the military life in basic training. My fellow soldiers and I learned the Army core values, such as loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage.
